We have lived in the circle G neighborhood on Guadalupe between Recker and Higley 10 years and have enjoyed using the easement daily at west end of Campbell, going to 172nd street. We mainly access it for running to get to the canals, but our family uses it for walking and biking and my kids use it to get to safely get to friends homes in the neighborhood west of us. We were so sad to see a locked gate put up suddenly Saturday, as this has been a helpful and needed thoroughfare for decades. And not only sad to lose that easement but the gate is not hoa approved and looks terrible, particularly with the signs they have posted.
As an implied easement for decades we are going the city can help us reopen this easement for the safety of our children and ability for us to continue to have access to the canals. We have contacted our HOA and hope we can all work together to find a solution for this situation. We appreciate your help! Thanks!

Illegal parking in a bus lane daily at school dismissal 2:50-3:05.

Many cars parked on yard and pop up Trailer they have been parked for many many months. I have seen many people report them and yet nothing has been done

Inconsiderate neighbor parking over property line to accommodate more inoperable vehicles

250-3pm. Watched 2 cars almost get hit pulling out of court and turning west on to Houston because of cars parked.

hello. say this is my third request for someone to acknowledge from the city of Gilbert the water recharge area on Higley and Ocotillo. The recharge area is continually getting filled without having proper time to dry out. This is going to cause issues with mosquitoes & midge flies.

I had connected with an individual discussing the water recharge area when it was being developed; was informed supposed to say go through the different basins and allow each basin to completely dry out before filling it. This is not what has been happening recently.

All basins are continually wet. there are thousands and thousands of midge flies already from the basin and it's going to be a bad spring if this does not get taken care of now.

would like somebody to help understand how these basins are going to be used and get ahead of the mosquitoes and mid flies issues this spring.

I was wondering if anybody can clarify the status and what is being done with the small water feature ponds/ fountains on the Southwest and Southeast corners of ValVista Dr and Baseline Road
These have been empty for over a year with zero progress in repairing/rebuilding or getting them functional.

What is the plan and when is it going to be implemented?

Is there a contact number for whomever is in charge of this project.

With the start of the new school year at Gilbert High School next week, we would like to respectfully raise an ongoing safety concern that has been reported multiple times by residents in our neighborhood, Lowe Estates.

During school arrival and dismissal times, many student drivers use our neighborhood as a cut-through route—most notably along N Concord St (which becomes E Park Ave) and E Cullumber St. Unfortunately, these drivers often exceed the 25 MPH speed limit by a wide margin. This presents a serious safety risk to our residents, particularly seniors, children, and pets who frequently walk or bike through the area.

We recognize that it may not be feasible for the Gilbert Police Department to monitor speeding in our neighborhood on a daily basis. However, we kindly ask the Town to consider implementing additional traffic calming or deterrent measures.

Specifically, we would like to request that the Town evaluate the installation of solar-powered radar speed feedback signs—similar to the one located at the northeast corner of Gilbert Rd and E Palo Verde St—on both directional sides of E Park Ave and E Cullumber St. While these signs may not eliminate the issue entirely, research and experience have shown that they are effective in reducing speeding and promoting safer driving behavior.
