The picture attached is from another neighborhood volunteer cleanup of the park and streetscape surrounding the drug camp at this location. Over 50 used needles were collected in less than an hour before the cleanup was canceled due to the overwhelming risk of injury and serious illness from exposure to the needle waste. Despite desperate pleas from our community, the health department has yet to respond to the needle issue in this area. The Public Health Director continues to affirm that this area is being 'monitored' and 'visited often'. All of these needles have been in plain sight, some of them for weeks, and continue to go uncollected. At this point, I'm not sure how else to get the city to take this issue seriously. Please remove the drug camp located behind the fence near Jocelyn Square Park. Volunteer cleanups of this area cannot replace the services that our city should be providing. This park should be closed if the city is unwilling to make it safe for children and our community.

Please remove the trespassing homeless encampment here again. All the individuals that were previously talked to simply waited at the park until the city left and then started moving back into the underpass. Saw both gentlemen drunk, shouting, and using the bathroom on the street this morning. The drunk fist fighting for locations in the underpass between them is constant. They fight for locations here because they panhandle at the on ramp to the freeway. Surely they can be arrested for trespassing at this point. The underpass is state property.

Three times so far, while walking, I have almost been hit by a car driving up Edwards Street and then turning right on Whitney Avenue. In each case, the driver had a red light and I had a walk signal. However, the drivers do have the right to turn right on red.

When they do so, the more careful drivers look left to check for oncoming traffic. However, they do not look right. Why should they? But at that point walkers have seen the walk signal change to "walk" and are on the crosswalk on Whitney Avenue.

One slight improvement would be a "no right turn on red" sign for drivers coming from Edwards. Even so, I am afraid to cross there now. Once two of us were nearly hit, and the driver seemed enraged by our presence and bullied us with their car.

There are three homeless people living under neath the humphrey st underpass right past next door and before dunkin donuts. One guy has been there for a week or so with garbage and food containers drinks etc that needs to be cleaned up. Now there is also a tent with two or three people living in it and their belongings and garbage everywhere. Something needs to be done

There is a large pothole in front of 150 Willow Street. Given the narrow street, it is difficult for drivers to avoid.
