    The town of Wake Forest chose to connect Bowling Green and Austin Creek, presumably to cut down on traffic on 98 and other main roads. Since the connection, cars are constantly going 40+ mph through the residential neighborhood where kids are playing, neighbors are walking dogs, etc. Not only should there be a stop sign or roundabout here, but POLICE DO NOT EVER PATROL THIS AREA. If your plan is to connect roads to drive traffic off the main streets, you have a responsibility to patrol them. Currently, this is not happening even after repeated calls and reports from residents. WHEN a child is killed (because it is bound to happen) I am confident neighbors will place blame back on the town given their negligence and ignored requests for traffic control measures and police patrol.

    This weekend I picked up 30 bags of dog waste that had been left in the area at an entrance to the greenway off Barnford Mill Road (behind 502 Littlehampton Court)

    I’m sorry the residents in my community are so inconsiderate. Can a can for dog waste be place near the entrance to the greenway?

    Stone Monument Dr & Ligon Mill Rd Wake Forest, North Carolina, 27587 - Wake Forest

    *Entering Stone Monument from Ligon Mill is unsafe.
    Traveling south on Ligon Mill (toward 1A) traffic is reduced from 2 lanes to 1 lane just at the point where a left turn is required for entry to the complex. There is much confusion among drivers as to where this left turn should be made from (the lane which has ended so that through-traffic flow is not slowed, or from the remaining lane). This makes it difficult to anticipate the actions of other drivers.

    *Exiting Stone Monument Dr. onto Ligon Mill Rd is unsafe.
    Curve of Ligon Mill Rd. (to the south of Stone Monument Dr) does not allow for clear sight from Stone Monument Dr. of oncoming traffic. This is exacerbated by overgrown weeds/shrubs on the roadside as well as excessive speed of traffic traveling north.

    Recently built stone retaining wall along sidewalk has broken and getting worse over the last 2 Months. You can’t miss it along the sidewalk In front of seminary housing. Also the underground utility box has the doors taped to keep it shut and box next to it may have a couple more months before the ground totally erodes and is just hanging out in space. Please take a look.
