I don’t know how to read a plat survey. I don’t know what an easement is. Someone from the county should explain. I called the cops over a property line that isn’t mine. You should see the body cam footage.

This may or may not be a violation. Worker did not show a permit - has a grading or other permit been issued? Property was sold July 2023 but AACounty records are not updated to reveal new owner name. Looks like property is Commercial Zoning - any rules about tree removal on commercial property? Thank you.

Hazardous shed overhanging community beach

On the rear property lines in between 214 and 212 Grand View Ave, Edgewater, MD 21037, there were bags of concrete dumped, whole, into the drainage ditch, by the resident of 307 Elm St, Edgewater, MD 21037. This incident occurred on 5/11/24. I have a photo and video evidence of the man doing this. The app is not allowing me to upload the photo, but I’m happy to provide it another way. I am concerened for flooding as there is already dammed water from the small rainstorms we had this past weekend (5/17/24 and 5/18/24). Another concern is the standing water that this has caused. Since taking this picture, I have noticed that the resident has added trash to the drainage ditch as well.

The stormwater culvert/swale behind my property has become non existent. The amount of silt buildup has caused the culvert to backup and not drain properly. My backyard has and is flooding on a regular rainfall and during tide surges. If the culvert was maintained with the overgrowth cut down and properly graded again the flooding would be somewhat resolved.

I'm asking for an inspection of the culverts/swales that are behind the property as well as on Elm Street and Cedar Lane. All areas are overgrown and full of debris.

Construction ongoing on beachside of owner’s property apparently to install new stairs. This construction is probably on community owned property without authority to encroach further on community owned beach. There apparently is no construction permit for stairs to beach.

and I am very concerned about my neighbors derelict backyard. My neighbors is Steve Wlimont 3717 Parke Drive. I filed a complaint about two years ago and he has not done anything about the issue. His boat pier on the Chesapeake Bay has become extremely damaged from neglect and storms. All the pier board are missing and some are jammed against my property and pier. The wood debris has floated in the bay causing a safety issue for boaters. Another major concern I have is his wood bulkhead is total destroyed. This has allowed very bad shore line erosion to his yard. I am worried that the erosion will start damaging my property. Check the photo of the erosion and wood debris on his property. I can send other pictures if needed. I would like for you to inspect his property and encourage him to do the proper repairs to stop any future erosion and damage to my property. You can enter my backyard and walk out on my pier to inspect the issue. Please let me know of what you thoughts are about the problem.
