City of Rahway

I am hereby urgently asking those responsible for the city of Newark that this property is abandoned and they have not been cleaning it for 2 years now, the city hall employees who were supposed to do the cleaning came to the front of the land and looked and did not want to do the cleaning work. This abandoned land is causing damage to my property next door, this is a lack of respect as I pay very high taxes on my house, and have to live among rats, snakes, dead animals and rubbish in this abandoned land!

I guess I will keep reporting until something is done The garbage trucks are NOT picking up the garbage in front of 21 and 25 Salem street Tomorrow is pick up day Is this going to go on all summer before the garbage is picked up? Rats are having a field day and the garbage is piling up

There is a large pothole at the corner of Melrose Avenue and Pine Grove Terrace. The pothole is large enough that a it can cause tire damage if you are turning to quickly.

Cars rarely stop for pedestrians it's becoming a danger

Garbage left out we have a huge issue with rats in the area of mice. We have personally spoke to the owner and the super of the building to no avail. This is causing a adverse impact to the community.
I have included the code for the ease of reference. I should also mention that we have made several complaints before and we’re not quite sure if anything has been done about it. Please respond to this particular complaint so that we know that these complaints are being read and followed up on and completed thank you so much.

No person shall throw, place or deposit or permit any person under his/her control or employment to throw, place or deposit any putrid substances, night soil, filth of any kind, garbage, rubbish, refuse piles, old lumber or other rat harborage or any unwholesome or combustible material, in or upon any vacant lot, alley, lane, sidewalk or street, canal, lake or river, or upon any private lot or public ground within the City without the approval and consent of the Director.

A reward of $150 shall be paid to any person or persons providing information leading to the detection and apprehension of any person found guilty of violating paragraph a of this section. The reward is to be payable after conviction out of a fund established for this purpose, but no such reward may be paid to any public employee whose duty is to investigate or to enforce the law.
