Hello I am the father of a 10 yr old student at Highcliff elementary. My concern and every other parents concern is the reckless drivers and speeders that come up and down the street in the morning when our children have to cross the road to get to the bus stop….. every single Day there is a close call, Cars constantly slam on their brakes and stopped at the very last second because they are going 15 to 20 mph over the speed limit and barely stop in at the crosswalks…. They are aware of the time of day and still don’t not have a single care in the world ….. cars constantly come around the Bend from the top of the road way to fast and see the cross walk at the last sec (due to the speed and just not paying attention) …. our crossing guard is amazing but she can only do so much! Multiple times drivers have jumped out on her and screamed at her due to her telling them to slow down….. people do not care one single bit about the children crossing… I’ve made a concern to the police but I also feel like some signage would help also …. A school crossing sign w the mph in lights while in school hrs, or even just any regular sign would help at the bare minimum…. Please take this concern seriously because a child is gonna get hurt or a parent or driver is gonna get hurt due to a fight because drivers Constantly feel like they are never in the wrong…

Byrlee road needs repaved due to numerous potholes and road work

It appears that the road curb to Browns Lane is failing at my steps, allowing storm water to drain down my steps, down my sidewalk towards my house, which is causing flooding in my basement.

On April 22 the large asphalt truck (pictured) was parked in front of our property for hours waiting to repair Kinsdale drive in Kinvara. The heat from the truck/tar machine melted the asphalt and left oil stains on the road. Now the asphalt is damaged. We used a powder to soak up the oil as there are many children and pets in the neighborhood. The road needs repaired where this damage occurred.

This pothole opened up after the heavy rains. There are
three chunks of road in it and it is being broken up by
cars driving over it every day and scattered on the road.

There is a hole at the edge of the sewer grate in front of our house that is getting progressively wider (it is currently 1 1/2' wide.) The gaps are big enough to see down into the area beneath the storm grate. We park on the street in front of the house since our driveway is so steep, and we are afraid to drive over that spot.

Hiland Vally Dr is riddled with potholes. In particular the upper portion of the street (furthest away from Perry Highway) THis part was not repaved in 2007 when the beginniing senction was and is now full of potholes. It is unsafe to drive. The road is narrow and it is necessary to swerve back and forth to avoic the potholes. It is like an obstacle courese.

Our street sign for Northview Road was blown over in the high winds last week. I have the sign at my house at 107 Northview. Can someone come and repair?
