Healthy tree removed against tree ordinance

Crews have recently replaced the water line on a large portion of Old Spring House Ln. Unfortunately the road patching they did after replacing the pipes is very poor and extremely bumpy. Something needs to be done immediately to correct that. Old Spring House Ln is not scheduled for paving until 2028 and our cars should not have to endure such poor patching for years. Not to mention all the dirt and stones they left behind.

What could go wrong with raising a pack dogs in a grocery cart?

After the hydrant line was replaced, the asphalt repairs left the roadway rough and uneven, making it hazardous to drive. This has created an unnecessary safety risk that affects everyone who uses this road.
Additionally, the sidewalks in this area have suffered from tree roots lifting the pavement, and the patchwork repairs over the years have not adequately addressed this issue. The sidewalks are now a significant trip hazard and are simply not safe for pedestrians, especially elderly residents and children. I understand the City plans to repave Old Spring House Lane in 2028. However, given the current hazardous conditions, waiting four years is not an acceptable solution for ensuring public safety. I urge the City to take immediate action to address both the road and sidewalk conditions on this street. We rely on the City to maintain safe infrastructure, and timely intervention is essential to uphold this responsibility.

I appreciate the City's recent effort to fix the eroded entrance to Hidden Cove Park at the end of Harold Byrd Drive. However, the attached photo taken today (after the storm) shows that's it’s already washed out and is unsafe and inaccessible by strollers, bikes, wheelchairs, or even walkers and runners While I recognize that you probably have lots of requests after the storm, please address this issue before further erosion occurs Would it be possible to pave at least part of this entrance?

There needs to be a road closed Barrier at the end of Lansdowne where they took out all of the trees. This was reported last week and a barrier has not been put in place yet. Someone could get killed driving over that edge. The orange cone you see were “found“ by neighbors and put in place. This is a serious safety measure. Why has this not been taken care of? The workers were there all day yesterday and did not put up a barrier at the end of the workday. ros
