    When the bike lanes and crosswalks on Ponce were repainted, the plastic posts protecting the crosswalks and bike lanes were removed at Trinity and Ponce, Adair and Ponce and Drexel and Ponce. Without these posts, cars are driving in the bike lanes. I have seen multiple near car/bike and car/pedestrian accidents. School starts next week and there is going to be a fatal accident if the posts are not put back into place.

    Does anyone know if the city has any resources, such as social workers, to help our unhoused residents with mental health problems?

    With more homeless in town, I’m noticing some seem to be staying around downtown long term, and I see some with significant signs of mental health concerns with hallucinations and yelling out to people.

    I’m curious if the city has a program that can check on them.

    I’m not degrading; I am just concerned for their safety.

    I try to help by giving them a meal and clean clothes. I am in no way able to help with anything health or mental-related.. m me?.
