City of Doraville Code Compliance: please take the health and safety of your community seriously, and inspect the multi- family properties in the city of Doraville. They are unsafe, dangerous, uninhabitable, unsanitary, infested with roaches, and rats. They are not up to GA code and many families live in awful, inhumane conditions but continually get the right help and treatment from their landlords that they deserve & they often do not know what the housing codes are so they don’t report.

    There is a vagrant living in a tent in the lower grass field on the old Shallowford Elementary School property. He is near the 2 white box trucks that are always parked there. It appears he has stolen a picnic table from somewhere. I think it belongs to Kaplan Dental. This is a residential area with lots of children who play on this field.
