IT IS A HEALTH RISK AND A FLOODING RISK. IT IS ALSO A PEDESTRIAN RISK BECAUSE THEY IMPACT THE SIDEWALK IN PLACES. IT WOULD BE A SHAME IF RESIDENTS HAVE TO PUT-UP WITH THIS FOR THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS--WE PAY TAXES AND WE VOTE!!

    The alley to the north of here is completely blocked. Many rude neighbors along this alley blatantly disregard the right of way and pile debris and trash to the point it impedes access. This issue is made worse by the homeless encampment that blocks one entrance to the alley which the city seems to embrace. All violators need to be cited.

    4401 2nd Ave N is listed as a short-term rental on AirBnB. Property Appraiser website shows parcel use is a single-family home, no special exceptions or classifications (NT-2).
    The host is the property owner and purchased November 21, 2018. The first AirBnB review is from April 2022 with 4 reviews total. She received 12 reviews in 2023 and received an additional 12 reviews since January 2024. This exceeds the allotted 3 times a STR can be rented for less than 30 days in any consecutive 365 day period 3 years in a row. Additional dates are marked off on the reservation calendar and they are still accepting reservations with a two-night minimum.

    Four recycling bins were mis-returned. They are sitting well within the alley, preventing a vehicle from driving in it. These were out of the alley beforehand. You can still see the truck in the picture.
    They additionally knocked a bin over when replacing it and left it like that.
    And to top it off, several cans in the alley where whichever bin was being emptied didn't all get into the truck.
    These are all things that occur *every* pickup. Very annoying.

    Dumping trash in trash barrels two or three away from his own. And a mower at that. I believe the city Ordinance Sec 27-465 (b) is clear about this. Jason Johns at 931 56th St N is constantly placing trash in our barrel located behind our home (alley between 9th Ave N and 10th Ave N) when he has a perfectly good barrel behind his own home.

    Resident called to report that the alley behind his property has a wash out /depression that impacted his back yard. He called a plumber to survey his property and the plumber traced the water source to the alley way and referenced a broken line. Resident asked to be contacted when the property is being surveyed so he can show the alley connection to his property.
