Lafayette Park (South)

It's fantastic that the long-dead tree in Lafayette Central Park near the bottom of the attached photo was removed today (thank you, thank you). Now it would be great if the city forestry department could add 10 or more new trees (circles in photo are possible locations).

This is not actually an illegal dump site, but there was no applicable category available in this app to raise my concern to BSEED.
My concern is why this new parking lot for Bob Maxey Ford is being built without ANY landscape island included (see red circled areas in attached photo). Does Bob Maxey Ford not have to comply with city code that requires that?
