Leawood resident

Notified About

  • 601-613 Gillette Dr Little Rock, AR 72205, USA - Midtown
Van Lee and Louwanda are being used as a cut-through from Rodney Parham for cars to get to Evergreen and Mississippi. Vehicles using this cut-through are usually speeding through the Leawood neighborhood, which makes it unsafe for pedestrians. Louwanda and Van Lee do not have sidewalks or a speed bump and it is dangerous when walking or biking due to the cut-through traffic. The traffic is especially heavy during the school year when parents cuts through the neighborhood to go to work and take their childern to schools located in the Hillcrest area. Based on the design of the S curve from Van Lee to Louwand it is evident that Van Lee was never intended to provide a cut-through to Louwanda and the Leawood neighborhood. This cut-through should be closed to provide Leawood residents a safe area to walk and ride bicycles.
  • 8215 Evergreen Drive - Midtown
A 25 mph Speed Limit sign is desperately needed on Evergreen eastbound between Linda Lane and Biscayne Drive to eliminate speeders climbing the hill toward Biscayne. A similar sign is already posted westbound from Biscayne.

  • 7815-7875 Leawood Blvd Little Rock, AR 72227, USA - Midtown

Everyone uses this as a cut-through. This is a residential neighborhood.

Either fix the problem with signs that state this, or upgrade ALL of LEAWOOD to Business zoned.

Bottom line, stop the traffic, my kids almost get run over every day. Everyone speeds though the neighborhood, throws beer cans in my yard, and nobody can do anything about it.

7700 Harmon Dr Little Rock, AR 72227, USA - Midtown
Next door 7620 Harmon (to the west) the people park in fron of the house and to the east side yard, most of the grass is gone, this is a big eyesore considering all the other home owners park in their drive or garage on the street. Is the new law in effect ?
  • 7801 Cantrell Rd Little Rock, AR 72227, USA - Midtown
Eastbound Cantrell traffic blocks this intersection daily. The large number of cars attempting to turn left onto Watt from Cantrell are unable to do so (LOTS of traffic turning left here is for the two schools - Miss Selma's and Anthony - located off of Watt, as well as several businesses. When the traffic is not able to turn left, it backs up in the Cantrell turn lane and adds more hazard to an already messy intersection.
  • 7810-8100 W Markham St Little Rock, AR 72205, USA - Midtown
The sidewalk on the north side of Markham is overgrown. You cant walk down the sidewalk without stepping into traffic.
