Corner of Melrose ave and Paige Rd. Snow piled so high from the plows unable to shovel or snow blow it to create a path on the sidewalk. This is a major walking intersection for MITCHELL, the high school and Pollard students.

Hello DPW

In the past three weeks we have had two cars pop a tire with this curb. This has been an issue since they built the big new house on the corner. I also see this issue has been complained about for a couple of years now.

This needs to be pulled up and fixed correctly before any other cars blow out another tire. How would you feel if you ruined your tire and had a destination to be at.

Please fix this now.

Sidewalks along businesses on Highland Ave are clear or partially clear of snow. The sidewalk along 7/11 is never cleared, forcing pedestrians to walk on traffic. This is a serious life safety issue.

School bus number 17 just knocked over the stop sign and street sign and then drove off.Please fix!

on the sidewalk acr from ~570 Hillside Av, looks like a bottomless crack-->wants to become a sinkhole? If it's helpful there was one earlier in '25 in the parking lot of Rosemary way which is a few meters away

Why does it have to be like this, year after year after year? This is a primary pedestrian entryway to Memorial Park. Students walk here. Athletes walk here. Residents walk here. Please stop using the path as a place to plow the entire snow accumulation from the NHS south lot. And please get rid of the 12 foot pile before it freezes and we're stuck with it for the next 2 months.

Smith street sign knocked over

As a resident of Oakland Ave.,Needham, MA the recently completed renovation of the School Administration building at 1330 Highland Ave was much appreciated. The building exterior and interior are extremely well done and a something for the town to be proud of. The opposite is true for the exterior grounds. As the 2 photos indicate the 20 bushes at the back of the parking lot are dead. Unfortunately, this is the second set of bushes installed. There is no irrigation system to water and keep them alive and no pump trucks have been seen to assist. The grass area in front of the bushes has only been mowed infrequently. That is also true for the grass area the front of the building. To have spent millions of dollars refurbishing the building only to pay little of no attention to the landscaping seems foolhardy.
I would like to know which town department and accompanying budget is responsible for these exterior areas?
Something needs to be done to remedy this. The previous parking lot had a nice fence at the back. That would certainly be preferable to what is there now.
