Red Light Cameras

at rush hour, it is very difficult to turn (north) left from Peeler Rd to gain access to Tilly Mill going east (right) onto North Peachtree Rd because traffic light backs traffic up. Some courteous drivers stop before the intersection to allow drivers to cut over--many do not. If a sign were there to mandate it traffic would flow better.

The park at Windwood Hollow has ongoing problems with used condoms being left in the parking lot and syringes. This is happening weekly. The photo of the single condom was taken of a condom that has been sitting in the parking lot for 2 weeks. This morning there were multiple condoms in the middle of the parking lot. The syringe has been there for weeks. There are children who play in this park daily and parents have to tell their children to avoid stepping on condoms in the parking lot. How about some security cameras?

every morning people traveling west on Tilly Mill and turning South onto N. Peachtree block intersection to all directions. It is starting to look like Perimeter Mall area at 530 pm. We need Dunwoody police to write some tickets or the same violators will keep doing this. It is dangerous and selfish.

The city dumpster at Leila Mason park is full of mattresses and someone’s old yard fence. This is an on going problem where someone is using this dumpster for construction debris. Once it is dumped someone will have to put the garbage around the dumpster. Why can’t we stop this from happening. There is a camera 100’ from the dumpster.

N. Peachtree is being abused by commuters as a cut through from Mount Vernon to Tilly Mill & Peeler Roads. Please post "No Thru Traffic Signs" and cameras to ticket violators. Speed Breakers are also needed on N Peachtree from Mount Vernon to N Peachtree Way. Steep grade encourages speed and provides dangerous scenario for children, walkers, bikers, and those exiting their driveway onto N Peachtree.

During weekday mornings, frequently westbound traffic along Tilly Mill Road blocks the intersection, making it either challenging or impossible for Peeler Road traffic to navigate on to Tilly Mill Road.
Recently I read about a new, giant X and 'do not block intersection' signs going on across from Perimeter Mall at Ravinia.
I am requesting the same line markings and signage at Tilly Mill Road and Peeler for the same reason.
Note: this is the intersection at Crossroads Church of Dunwoody, NOT at Summer Landing Senior Living.

Dunwoody camera(?) atop light fixture at corner of 1290 Crown Pointe Pkwy and 4550 Olde Perimeter Way is hanging.
Please send a crew to repair.

All the traffic lights SB on Ashford Dunwoody in front of Perimeter Mall through Hammond Drive are not synced and therefore SB traffic on Ashford Dunwoody ends up blocking the intersection exiting the mall and impedes the cross traffic flow and causes more congestion.

I would suggest the following:
1) Resync these lights on Ashford Dunwoody
2) Put up "DO NOT BLOCK INTERSECTION" signs at each intersection in this area
3) Add Red Light Cameras to these intersections and create a revenue stream for the city by catching these violators, as well as people who run these lights.

Side street vehicle detectors are not working here. There appears to be camera detection, cameras may have moved or stopped working. The side street stays green for a very long time even when there are no cars there. If a pedestrian pushes the button it stays green well beyond the termination of the pedestrian countdown. Side street max recall may be good for PM peak (very heavy side street, especially after MARTA train arrival and subsequent traffic leaving from the parking deck inside the mall perimeter road) but off peak periods it just creates a very long stop on the mainline sometimes.
