good morning all. I'm the home owner of 332 Rossiter ave last house on the dead end. I have been trying to contact the city of Paterson recycling department,and city clean up. i have been getting the run around for over 1 year now. maybe longer. I have spoken to many dispatchers at dpw who have told me that a supervisor or inspector will take care of this matter. i have been calling once a week,and I keep being told that the clean up is in process. it's been over a year now,and nothing has been done to clean up the dead end. all the debri goes on my property daily,and the inspectors only come to try to give out fines do to long landscaping. other than that they haven't done anything at all. it took 4 months for the city to pick up my Christmas tree. 4 months. there are trees fallen, leaves,and grown roots that end up my property daily. it cost me money to pay to clean,and for waste removal. I'm hoping that this notice goes to the right person in charge. like I said before. the city keep telling me that an inspector will come and take care of the matter. it's been over 1 year now.hopefully this matter can be resolved before I have to take a different approach. best regards. home owner tax payer.

The Totowa school system has refused to send out notification that there is a LICE outbreak. My daughters have been the unfortunate recipients of the "non health issue" twice in 3 months now. They were "clean" for a month. I have been spot checking them every 2 days and found them AGAIN 2 days ago. I want parents to be aware so that they can check their children and keep them home if they're infested. Nothing I do will help if people keep sending their kids to school with Lice...My daughters have been tortured by the treatments and I am exhausted by all the washing, sterilizing, vacuuming and basically tearing my home apart to be rid of this scourge TWICE now! No calls to the schools have been returned and they refuse to send out notification simply because I was told that lice do not carry disease and they do not consider it a "health issue". I find it hard to believe that ANY parent is ok with their children having "bugs" in their hair. I am mortified, ANGRY and disgusted by all of this and feel that I need to alert the Totowa parents since the school system will do nothing to get the word out. I am SO done with lice, what do I have to do, home school my children or deal with LICE until the end of June? It might not be a health issue, but it is CERTAINLY a hygiene issue. My poor daughters have been through this enough! Get the word out! I AM ANGRY!
