The new road on 196 and Pembroke road has had numerous accidents since the original post by another user in 2015. No comment has been made by the city. What are we doing about it? The curve is very dangerous, accidents are happening constantly. The minute the barrier is fixed, another accident happens and its down again. There are not enough warnings about the curve, there is not a dangerous curve ahead sign, there are no street lights. There is a 25 mph sign and that is it. School buses drive on This road. Pines charter elementary and middle school are around the corner and soon Pembroke road will open up over 75 and this is going to be a very dangerous road. City of Pembroke Pines, please take notice before a fatality occurs due to lack of warning to drivers unfamiliar to the road.

Light is out

At the release of school there is now limited parking space for parents at pick up at pines charter elementary and middle school. Parents are told to park on Pembroke road and 184th ave, Pembroke Pines side of the street. Police are at the school making sure no one parks on Miramar side, yet there are cars driving on the side walk while children and parents are walking to their cars. This is surely going to end as a tragedy, big safety issue!!

I think this is a very dangerous exit, I almost had an accident this week twice in this exit. The exit does not have lighting and it's a very dangerous curve that starts right away with out the correct curve signals, in other words you don't see the curve until you are in the curve at 65 miles per hour, so you first reaction it's to stop drastically to be able to take the curve with the right speed, this can cause a very bad accident if there is a car after you, the other reaction that you get is that you see the curve you realize you are going to fast to stop so you hesitate and then continue straight and their is no lane straight ahead so you can end up in the bottom of the deep green grass with water that it's on the side of this curve. The curve signal start way after the curve have actually started, their is no way for you to now that this exit has a curve until you see it and you don't have time to reduce your speed for the curve. This is a very dangerous exit for somebody that is not familiar with this area, I am a 27 years old young women, I drive since I was 15 and I never had an accident before that I caused, thank God! But I almost had my first one twice this week in this exit. Please fix this, add more light a big sign with an arrow pointing to the exit and big curve sign before the curve begin or right when it begins no half way to the curve when you don’t have time to react. Please avoid and accident. I am attaching photos, so you have a better understanding of what I am trying to explain.
