  • 6320-6398 Malvern Avenue Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Morris Park
PEOPLE CONTINUE TO WALK THEIR DOGS AND LEAVE THEIR FECES AROUND THE PERIMETER OF OVERBROOK SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND AS WELL AS AROUND THE PARKING LOT FOR EMPLOYEES WHICH IS LOCATED ON MALVERN AVE DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE SCHOOL.
THE BLIND STUDENTS PRACTICE WALKING WITH A CANE AROUND THE SCHOOL SO THIS PRACTICE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
  • 1800 - 1900 Wynnewood Rd Philadelphia, PA 19151, USA - Morris Park
Many people walk their dogs around the perimeter of Overbrook School for the Blind. There are quite a few mostly with large dogs who do not pick up after them even though the $300 fine signs are posted. The fine is not enforced and calling them out has not helped. The students at the school are taught to navigate with their canes around the school. This is entirely unacceptable. 2 young men walk their pitbulls one white dog & one dark around 9-10 AM and 7-8 PM AND NEVER PICK UP AFTER THEM.
  • 1023 Marlyn Rd Philadelphia, PA - Morris Park
2 doors away from us, the neighbors' sewer line is leaking. There is feces and toilet paper running over the curb and into the street. There are children and pets in the area that are coming into contact with this mess. We called L&I, the water department, the health department, the streets department and our city councilman. This has been going on for about 3 months with no fix being done. We have been told so many rediculous things such as "it's not a problem if you don't sitck your face in it" "it happens to everyone in the city". We have also been told by the water department that the water service will be shut off to the house. We were told this many times starting about a month ago but this has not been done. We also have spoken with the neighbor and we got threatened by them.
With the weather getting warmer it is beginning to smell like a sewer along the sidewalk.
In addition to it being plain nasty, I know, as a Microbiologist, that there is a problem with someone possibly getting sick without "sticking their face in it" as we were told.
Is there any agency who cares?
This is not the first time we have had issues with these departments.

  • 900 N. 67th Street philadelphia, pa - Morris Park
Recently several of these yellow and black signs have been posted up all around Overbrook past 63rd street. These signs are degrading, targeting our struggling homeowners and really destroys the look of the neighborhood. They need to all be removed and those responsible for the signs need to be tracked down and fined.
  • 1848 Ashurst Road Philadelphia, PA - Morris Park
the street light is not working - located near the sidewalk across from house with the address of 1848 Ashurst Road, Phila, PA in the Overbrook Park section of the city.
  • 1835 Wynnewood Rd Philadelphia, PA 19151, USA - Morris Park
The sidewalk that leads from Wynnewood Road to 63rd street next to 1835 Wynnewood Road has excessive amounts of Poison Ivy blocking the path. I know many children take this walk to school and I am concerned for their safety.
  • 1872-1898 Wynnewood Rd Philadelphia, PA 19151, USA - Morris Park
I have sent pictures to 311 on three separate occasions with the location of 1857-1859 Wynnewood rd 19151 only to receive a reply that they needed a location. It is very frustrating. I have at least 4 more
