    Not just a pothole, close to the curb, but what appears to be a sink hole opening up under the street.

    Lafayette Park needs lights that work. During the day, the park is bad enough, filled with bums drinking and doing drugs, and leaving their messes behind. But at night, these same nuisances become public safety issues due to the fact that there are few or no lights on in the park. These nuisances are territorial and threatening to anyone who walks by. After so much time and money was spent to fix up this park, it would be nice if tax-paying citizens of the neighborhood could feel safe enough to actually use it. Thanks.

    Almost all the lighting is out at Lafayette Square Park. This constitutes A PUBLIC SAFETY HAZARD AT NIGHT.

    Congrats to the police for successfully removing the bums from under the highway near the police dept. Except now the bums have taken over from the Old Oakland neighborhood all the way to the highway. And they are not homeless since they are camped out in tents. Public nuisance, public safety, public health, drugs, alcohol, urination, feces. Please do something quickly because my neighbors (including young children) and I are concerned for our safety, some having already experienced threats of violence. This is a sensitive issue, and without immediate action, I'm afraid it could escalate into physical confrontations.

    3 months ago, maintenance at the park had improved. However, recently maintenance has once again declined. The grass is totally overgrown, and a lot of the trash cans haven't been emptied, and a lot of dumping has taken place recently. Clothing and food has been dumped, gotten wet in the rain, and never been collected or disposed of.

    Someone continues to dump bread here attracting may pigeons day in and day out. The aftermath is a sidewalk full of birdpoop. We need better signage and more frequent power washing.
