    As fast as you can say " live stop" police officers are parking their private vehicles in the 13th street bike lane between Juniper and Arch.
  • Spruce St 7th St Philadelphia, PA 19106, USA - Society Hill
    Riding on spruce st bike lane begining from 3rd till 23rd people been using the bike lane as a parking lane ,always parked cars at 3rd and 5th on spruce ;and same on pine street, between 22nd and 6th having to swerve around at least 10-12 parked cars , and when said something, got screamed and harassed to a fist fight, just kept riding. during the day i have had cars use the bike lane as a passing lane too,at spruce and 8th +9th +10th. do not feel safe in the bike lanes!

    13ths st. has a chronically blocked bike lane that is clearly marked "No Parking Anytime." Every morning it is filled with cars, largely occupied by police vehicles

    The abandoned trolly tracks on 12th Street are a terrific hazard for bicyclist. Aware of one serious accident at least. Tracks not only go straight but curve out to the right close to the parking lane at this location.

    Cars routinely drive in them, taxis routinely pull into them well ahead of a right turn, dangerously cutting you off, delivery vans and people unloading routinely stop in them, and cars park in them en masse on the weekends. All you have to do is look at the per capita murder rate of a city to see how well managed and livable it is....

    The new 13th Street bike lane between Filbert and Arch Streets is blocked by a row of parked police cars every week day!

    The bike lane on the east side of the 200 block of north 13th st. is completely blocked by a sedan, a dump truck and a large pile of gravel. The bike lane is inaccessible.

    The bike lane on Delaware Avenue has disappeared due to neglect by the City. Then the Spring Garden intersection was resurfaced and the northbound bike lane was completely removed. North of Spring Garden you can see it again.

    Yesterday I was run over by a car while I was pedaling in the bike lane. It was an employee of the Hyatt Hotel. She slowly pulled into the bike lane forcing me onto the sidewalk. It was a green minivan PA License HMY1849.

    Residents of Society Hill Towers dump ALL their trash into garbage chutes on each floor without seperating recycling. When you look at the huge dumpsters downstairs in the garage they are full of bottles, papers, etc that should be recycled under Philadelphia Law. The towers have a very strong PAC that appears to keep them above the law but this must be corrected, it's disgusting, illegal and filling trash landfills.

    UPS, FedEx, USPS, and cars CONSTANTLY blocking bike lanes. Super dangerous and they never get ticketed. PPA should spend more time ticketing bike lanes and less stalking parking meters!
