Illegal Dumping Acknowledged1920 West St Berkeley Ca 94702 United States - BerkeleyI would like the city to articulate an actual response about this encampment. I know the city has cleaned up other encampments. What do I have to do to hear the city’s plan for dealing with this problem?

STOP AT&T LITTER IN BERKELEY Archived1396 Berkeley Way Berkeley, CA 94702, USA - BerkeleyFor years, AT&T technicians have been leaving their debris behind at over 20 telecommunications terminals (the green boxes) in Berkeley, littering the public easements and the street gutters leading to the Bay. The Mayor, all City Council Members, the City Manager, and AT&T Corporate officials have been aware of this problem for the last 7 months but have failed in their efforts to stop it. Please join your neighbors by sending a clear signal to city hall that we will not tolerate this continued littering in our city. This is Councilmember Linda Maio's district, lmaio@cityofberkeley.info, (510) 981-7110. Please contact her and voice your concern. Please also join us by visiting Facebook and Change.org and searching: STOP ATT LITTER

Semi-Permanent Homeless Camp Archived1641 Hearst Avenue Berkeley, California - BerkeleyA tent was just erected (at 9am) next to the volleyball court, Debris is strewn about both sides of the court. Yesterday, bikes were being dismantled and rebuilt. A BBQ, which could lead to fire, is in the pile of goods near the fence that backs to my property. Please remove the debris and tell these people to move to a shelter.

Illegal Dumping ArchivedWest Street Berkeley, CA 94702, USA - BerkeleyTrash filled tent spilling onto greenway. Has been a problem since December.
-
Other ArchivedWest Street Berkeley, CA 94702, USA - BerkeleyThere is a group of homeless men camping on the volleyball court. They have been using a charcoal grill to cook on the court, which makes it not possible to use the space for games. They also have a significant pile of belongings and trash/urine jars. Is anything being done to move them off of this park space?

Other AcknowledgedWest Street Berkeley, CA 94702, USA - BerkeleyExpanding homeless encampment - now up to two tents holding an unknown number of persons. Material dumped at table along side of West Street Path. Again, no signs of proper human waste disposal facilities. Should they be camping here given that this is city space and is also an abandoned contaminated railroad right-of-wAy?
