Notified About

  • 1769 E Main St Chattanooga, TN 37404 - Highland Park Neighborhood
The section of Main Street,- between Holtzclaw and probably all the way to Dodds Avenue, could really use some more lighting.
  • 1706 Long St Chattanooga, TN 37408, USA - Chattanooga
Speed bumps, or other speed controlling devices, need to be installed along Long Street, Williams Street and Cowart Street. Long Street is especially of concern because of the Elementary School that is located on it.
  • 401-415 W Main St Chattanooga, TN 37402, USA - Chattanooga
Directly beside Pilgrim's Pride is a section of the road between the railroad tracks and Broad St that needs reworked.
  • alley paving Archived
1500-1600 Adams Street Chattanooga, TN - Chattanooga
The alley between Adams and Jefferson behind 16th St. needs to be paved
  • 138-198 West Main Street Chattanooga, Tennessee - Chattanooga
With all of the new restaurants and such going in on Main Street and with the increased traffic from the Entertainment District, pedestrians need a safe way of crossing Main St near Williams. A crosswalk with warning signal would be ideal.
  • Adams St Chattanooga, 37408 - Chattanooga

Adams Street located off E Main Street has seen an extensive increase in traffic since speed hums were install on nearby Jefferson Street. This excess traffic is often non residents speeding though a walkable neighborhood in order to bypass nearby school zones. We also frequently see commercial trucks use it as a thoroughfare to Main St. I really does not make since for 18-wheelers to use a small side road rather then the much more expansive Rossville Ave.

It is the neighborhoods belief that that this excess traffic also draws other unsavory elements such as drug dealers and prostitutes. It is a fairly common sight to see these types of people walking up and down the street or standing on the comers closer to E Main.

It also seem s that if there were speed humps to slow traffic down then a recent shooting would not have occurred because there would not have been a quick and easy get away route.

  • 1784 S Hawthorne St Chattanooga, TN 37404 - Chattanooga
Burned-out house. Duration: greater than one year. Reported to city government.
  • Williams And 14th Chattanooga, Tennessee - Chattanooga
On both 14th and Williams St, there are 2-hour parking limits. However, there are several non-commercial businesses in this area with employees who need somewhere to park. Furthermore, if you leave and come back, often you'll get a parking ticket even if you're in a new spot on the street.
  • Pothole Archived
1773-1899 Madison Street Chattanooga, Tennessee - Chattanooga
There is a large pothole at this location. Right at the intersection with Madison and 19th St.
  • 1201 Carter St Chattanooga, TN 37402, USA - Chattanooga
    blocking sidewalk and bike lane
  • 1626 South Market Street Chattanooga, Tennessee - Chattanooga
Two aspects of the same issue: vehicular traffic in the area moves to quickly to properly yield to pedestrians.
Better signage (flashing lights, etc.) is needed to help ensure the school zone speed limit is respected. The crossing guard fights a losing battle every day on that stretch of road. In afternoons, the Howard school bus driver who drops off students at this intersection (after the crossing guard is gone) also struggles to ensure cars stop, frantically honking to try to get drivers' attention. Every day I've seen it, students are almost hit as they cross the road after school. Flashers (as seen further down Market) would be a significant improvement.
  • 600 E. 16th St. Chattanooga, Tennessee - Chattanooga
There are very large potholes on both side of the intersection of E. 16th & Jefferson St. in Jefferson Heights
