    There is a sinkhole developing on Park Blvd across from St. James that is about 6" deep and getting deeper. It is likely associated with work that was recently completed in that location and I suspect related to leaking water pipes. It is dangerous due to its location in the street and depth. At a minimum promenant barricades should be erected until it's repaired. Really, take a look, this one is bad.

    Both slides at Dimond Park have been boarded up and unusable for 6+. They need to be replaced or fixed so that kids can slide at the park! One slide is in the playground by the rec center, and the other is at the bottom of the park where Dimond St enters it.
  • 1186 Trestle Glen Road Oakland, California - Crocker Highland
    This sinkhole, in the street between 1185 and 1186 Trestle Glen Rd., has been repaired several times since 2006, the last time after it caused a cyclist to crash and dislocate his shoulder. It's now several inches deep and a large crack has appeared across the sidewalk and down the driveway of 1185. Smaller cracks are leading up the sidewalk at 1186. Another cyclist crashed this weekend and had to be taken to Highland hospital for an MRI and a bunch of stitches.

    This issue was addressed over the summer by replacing a cover for this manhole.
    But now when it rains the water lifts the cover off and garbage is comming out dumping directly into Sausal Creek.
    The manhole must be secured or clogged.

The community has tried for years to get CVS to have a regular, at least twice weekly, service to pick up the litter. But this has never happened.     My home driveway is frequently block or partially blocked by either parked or double parked cars in my neighborhood. Since my driveway is very narrow and the street is also narrow, this makes it either impossible or extremely difficult for me to drive my car off my property. A neighborhood Cordinator suggested submitting a request for parking "T's." I am open to other suggestions available. Thank you.
