    The city should enforce laws requiring people parked on streets from parking to far from curbs. The city could and should be held liable if emergency vehicles cannot get through an area because of cars parked to far away from curbs. From what I saw yesterday this is a citywide problem. Please enforce parking laws across the city and ticket/tow these vehicles that are parked in the middle of many of our streets. The city should not be expected to clear to the curb for residents, the owners of the cars should shovel spots for themselves just as people with driveways have to shovel. Seems as though many lazy entitled people have moved into the city.

    Dear Mayor Christenson and Board of Health of Malden,
    I’m reporting an environmental health issue an behalf of concerned residents from 260 Main Street Malden Mass.
    Since spring 2019, our neighboring lot owned by National Grid has been constantly serving as a construction site and depository for excavated wastes. It’s understandable that this site is used for occasional temporary projects. However, due to their constant usage for many months and on, the noise and waste dusts pose long term health hazards to our residents here in especially to kids and elderly.
    The excavated wastes are often stored here and the moved away before new wastes come again.
    My son has developed coughing for over a month. According to his pediatrician, it’s not cold related but due to irritation from environments.
    As a community we are very concerned about the long term impact on our health. Please look into this matter as soon as possible so that we can have it addressed.

    Super 88 supermarket has very poor quality vegetables and sells moldy food. An example is the lotus root taken in the photo. The date was 6/11. As a customer, I wanted to buy lotus root, but found that most of the lotus root on the shelf had been moldy and had serious food safety problems. Not only lotus root, but also some fruits such as mango have rot problems. Hope relevant departments can strengthen food safety management.

    The lady that feeds all the animals in the area….birds, rodents, etc….seriously needs to stop. Why do our “issues” with this get deleted and nothing is resolved?

    There is trash all over Bell Rock park, and it continues to accumulate because the city removed the trash bins and never replaced them. Every other public park seems to have trash bins for people's litter so why is this park an exception? The trash is blowing into neighboring yards during windy/rainy days. Please replace the trash bins and perhaps add a recycling bin - Malden forces its residents to use special trash bags to support its recycling program yet doesn't have a recycling bin in a highly visited public park?

    Hi,
    We're complaining for very instensive smell of burnt/smoking food around Main St and Centre St everyday in the afternoon and evening. This is seriously affecting our daily lives as we could not open our windows for fresh air and the smell can be sensed everywhere in downtown Malden.
