Sherwood Park on Northside

Getting off of i-95 south onto Boulevard is not a fun experience.

This exit ramp has several major sections that appear to have lost many inches of pavement.

It is an extremely rough section of road that is traveled by many every day. I know my car is no happy with this section of road and you have to be ready for it or it will send you skipping across the lane!!!

The sinkhole in the middle of Brook Rd at the intersection of Westwood Ave is very poorly marked for those going northbound on Brook. The barrier blocking it has been knocked over twice now, and the "Keep Right" sign has been blown over for days. There really aught to be a flashing arrow there or something...

All lights are out in the underpass where 64 goes over Westwood Avenue (RICHMOND, 23227). This is a
graffiti-prone area.

The new bike lane on Brookland Park Blvd is doubling travel time in morning and evening traffic. Previously two lanes were ideal and allowed for an unrestricted flow of traffic. For example, in between Chamberlayne and Brook rd. there is a dedicated right-turn only lane. This is completely unnecessary as roughly 10% of vehicles make right turns here. The lack of a second lane is detrimental to the flow of traffic. This needs to be addressed.

Designated bike lanes are still being used by cars.

Dear City of Richmond

I am currently an employee in the city of Richmond. Every day I get off on exit 78South and as I come down the hill the trash literally smacks you in the face. Over the past couple months the amount of trash has become overwhelming. I feel as if it has attracted more trash because it looks the way it does. Also recently there has been bridge work off this exit and I hoped they would have cleaned up the area since they were already in the area cleaning up but instead they decided to just throw hay over top of the additional trash. The major issue here is the eye sore it has become and being such a heavily traveled exit you would hope that is not the scene you would want to betray for your city. If you could please get someone over there to take care of this issue it would make a huge impact on the area alone. I hope to see a change off of this exit very soon I will be looking forward to seeing a clean exit. If I do not see a change you will hear from me again. Thank you for your attention on this issue.

When headed either east or west on Westwood Avenue at the intersection with Book Road, the time you have to wait for the light to turn from red to green is excessively long.

Heading west on Brookland Parkway, there are about six significant potholes in the block from Brook Rd. to Robin Hood Rd. In order to avoid them, it is necessary to encroach on the bike lane to the right.
