    Hi Raleigh, I would like to suggest that we update the block between Alder Ridge and Lake Wheeler Road along Lineberry Drive with five new crosswalks.

    Since the rest of Linberry Drive has crosswalks and now that the new apartments have added an additional sidwalk, I'd like to see if the city can complete the pedestrian amenties for our neighborhood.

    I'm suggesting crosswalks at:
    1) Alder Ridge / Lineberry
    2) Lineberry / apartments entrace (UV 2505)
    3) Lineberry / health care - rear entrance
    4) Lineberry / health care - main entrance
    5) Lineberry / Lake Wheeler*

    * - this one may be already part of the LWR pedestrian improvement project

  • 2720 Tryon Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Southwest
    There are an overwhelming amount of potholes that recently developed, literally covering this whole section of tryon rd. I've witnessed many close accidents caused by people trying to avoid them, in addition to the wear and tear on cars. This is a major issue.

    There has been standing water on Ramsgate Street for at least 2 weeks. The water goes from one side of the street to the other and it appears to be running down the street as well (this address is at the top of a hill). The water has frozen during the last few cold days/nights making it a nice slippery sheet of ice. It would be great to have this checked on before the next freeze.

    There is an excessive amount of litter on the property (wooded, vacant lot) on the north side of Tryon Road from Trailwood Hills Drive down to Sadie Hopkins Street. It would be great if the property owner could get a crew or volunteer group out there to clean-up this area as it is degrading the appeal of this part of town.

    The traffic light at the intersection of Tryon Road and Lake Wheeler may need to be adjusted. Traffic was backing up on both sides of the road this morning on the east side all the way to Renaissance Park. Once through the intersection the traffic was fine indicating that the light cycle may be the issue. Can someone investigate and report back on this?
