Cornerstone Park/Long Lake

This intersection is ridiculous. You have LHS students and a crap ton of groggy, impatient adults racing across it morning, lunch, and dismissal while LMS and LES students are walking, and being driven along with Hilburn Academy elementary and middle students. There is a semi-bind curve and an uphill climb facing west that many drivers (especially inexperienced ones) fail to take into account. There have been many accidents, and people still blaze down Pinecrest at 60 mph - even with an RPD station at Glenwood.

I suppose the county, city, or whoever is waiting for some kid(s) to get flattened here so they can play the "who could have anticipated" game. These comments, and the many other similar ones will be used in the eventual wrongful death suit that will be filled.

Owner of 8408 lunar Stone place is parking his tow truck on the residential street. Either on lunar Stone (restricting emergency and service vehicles entry and resident egress) or tie Stone way (safety hazard to two intersections and fire hydrant). It is in our city ordinance that commercial vehicles may only park on residential streets while providing a service (except buses). Please flag this tow truck for removal.

Three different 18 wheelers are taking turns parking on the residential street of Country Trail at the Stoneface Way intersection making it extremely hard to walk across the street to the shopping center, especially for children and dog walkers. The police have visited each time we've contacted the police, but it would be nice if these people (if it isn't just one) would adhere to the law and STOP parking there before a child or adult dies attempting to cross the road at the intersection.

A large tree is crossing the pathway in the tree conservation area and is laying on a utility line. This was reported several weeks ago and I was give confirmation/work order number of 1452956. I have been on numerous sites with conflicting responses. I am hoping on this forum can help.

My community has both private and public streets. Further the HOA maintains only the private streets, but not the public ones (ex. De-icing streets, re-paving, etc)

Recently the HOA has decided to enforce no parking on the streets. However this is only for the homeowners and not visitors (even though visitors could potentially stay longer than a day)

My question is can they legally do so on Public streets maintained by the city?

There is no crosswalk at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Ebenezer Church Road. With there being a bus stop for route 70X near this intersection as well as Umstead Park just down the road, it is dangerous and senseless to have no safe way for people to cross the street. In fact, there are no crosswalks ANYWHERE on Glenwood in this area. I have witnessed people attempting to cross the road here. It is unsafe for pedestrians and drivers alike.

Someone left a car parked in front of the mailbox at 8207 Shadow Stone Ct blocking the mail delivery
