The bridge on Court Street between State and Artizan is unbelievably dark. The same bridge on Chapel has 2 lights and yet far more people travel via Court from downtown to get home to Wooster Square. Please fix!

I created a new issue. Each incident should be a new issue in my opinion. This helps demonstrate the seriousness.

Tonight, between 6 and 6:30 pm there was another mugging on Court
Street between Olive and Artizan Streets near the Friendship House
apartments. 2 men slammed a neighbor to the ground and took his
wallet and cell phone. Coincidentally, a coworker of the victim was
on his way home at the end of the incident and called the police.
Details are still coming in and I will let you know when I have a full
description of the attackers.

Please, do not walk home after dark on Court Street on the north side
of the street. Walk with a friend, do whatever you can to stay safe.

A man somehow got into the Smoothie building at around 6 p.m. on June 5 and attempted to break into two apartments. Both times he was interrupted by resident. Police were called to the scene but the man was nowhere to be found.

The suspect is a tall, lanky, light-skinned African-American man in his 40s or 50s. Bald, no facial hair, wearing a white striped dress shirt and carrying a black bag of tools.

Someone was mugged at around 11:45 pm by two men, one on a bike and one on foot. We called police and it took 1/2 hour to respond. After they mugged someone, they recircled Olive. This street is too dark! We need more lights and more police presence in Wooster Square.

The front of the Strouse-Adler building (Olive Street Side) is too dark at night. It does not feel safe at all. Additional lighting can make this sidewalk much safer for area residents.

The Court St bridge over the railroad tracks has no streetlights, and is very dark and can be treacherous, especially in winter when the road surface and sidewalks ice up. Maybe a light could be affixed to the bridge?

There have been mid-day muggings the past two weeks on Court Street, between Olive and Academy. They have happened during the DAY, during lunchtime. Neighbors say the muggers are 3 boys. I'm not sure if they are the same for each of the 4 but please keep a look out. Daylight muggings in New Haven are unthinkable.

The middle of the 3 solar street lights on the Court Street Bridge is out. I'm sorry I don't have the pole number - I don't think these special lights have numbers like the others do... At any rate, please fix! Having even one out darkens the bridge in a big way. Thanks!

The Parking Authority parking lot at the corner of Court and Olive is extremely dark and not well maintained. I park to pay there and am scared to exit my car at night because it is pitch black. I am confused about who oversees management and maintenance of this lot. More lights need to be added on this corner and in this lot. Many incidents have happened at this corner and the dark lot doesn't help. Please add lights, fix lights already there, and increase wattage.

The street lights are extremely dim or lacking in the entire area from state street over to Wooster Square. It is dark and scary.
