Arch Street At Fitch And Warner Hamden CT 06514 - Hamden
The Litter is disgusting. Broken glass is common along the sidewalk. I've seen a dead squirrel left there for days. The abandoned building usually has litter. Sometimes during the year it is clean. Also graffiti. Signs posted on street light poles.

Resident at 83 Burke Street called in with a sidewalk repair request-
Says that all sidewalks were fixed around him, and his was not and it looks terrible.
Would it be possible to replace/repair this premise this year or the near future?

This morning 6:25am my daughter goes out to her car and noticed her convertable top was cut open and someone broke into her car police was called and a report was filed and the officer instructed my daughter to take everything out and leave the doors unlocked. What I dont understand is why no finger prints was taken so there is no interest in finding out who did this so when she leaves her doors unlocked and they steal her radio will Hamden police department take responsibility for that? Of course not then they will say you should have locked your doors. If I wasnt a homeowner I would move off of this street and out of Hamden so fast it is so unsafe and nothing at all is being done nothing no one seems to care
    Extremely Frustrated
  • 129 Warner St Hamden, CT 06514, USA - Hamden
the sidewalks on the street in this area have not been repaired in this area going back as far as 1989, they seriously need to be put on the list to be done as soon as possible this is a hazardous situation someone is going to get hurt. As the homeowner in this area I have tried patching what I could and it falls apart.
  • 66 George St Hamden, CT, 06514, USA - Hamden
66-68 George Street has an overcrowding issue with illegal units. This is causing numerous unregistered parked vehicles in front of the property and parking extremely close to the neighbor next door driveway which makes it unsafe to get in and out of driveway. White Ford econoline 250 plate C124866 hasn’t been moved in well over a year. Silver Oldsmobile sedan plate C 086326. Additionally the street light in front of this address is not working properly comes on and off and flickers.
  • 106 Arch St Hamden, CT, 06514, USA - Hamden
83 and 106 Arch Street are never plowed/cleared when it snows. It is impossible to get to Dixwell Ave. from Southern Connecticut State University except by walking in the road or crossing to the other side without the aid of pedestrian signals. At this point it is about to melt away but someone should be making the owners of these buildings clear a path for pedestrians when it snows so they will not be slipping on ice or risking getting run over while bypassing the ice on the road.
