The bridge crossing Rte 9 in Manalapan at the intersection of Gordon's Corner and Tennent Road is a mass of potholes.

20100311 - Potholes are improved, but still present.
20100326 - The potholes are now primarily at the intersection of Gordon's Corner Road (going north) intersecting with Tennent Road . It is a hazardous mess.
04/25/2010 - In about two weeks, this bridge is supposedly going to be replaced!! Once this begins, I'll close this issue. (Of course, the bridge will be closed to a year or so, guess that's what I get for complaining.)

  • 195 Us Hwy 9 NJ 07726 - Monmouth County
In Manalapan, Marlboro and Freehold there are plenty of NJ Transit bus stops that leave riders at the curb with no safe way to walk along 9 to a park and ride or to a nearby development. How about some sidewalks so commuters don't have to walk along the shoulder or dart across 9 and pray this isn't their unlucky night?
  • 301-307 Pine Brook Rd Englishtown, NJ 07726, USA - Yorketown
In Manalapan Township, the flashing red light at the Intersection of Pinebrook and Pease road needs to be removed and in its place a Standard Traffic light is required. Several reasons exist for the Traffic light upgrade. First and foremost is the fact that the flashing red light is confusing when multiple vehicles are at the intersection at the same time, many drivers do not know who has the right of way, accidents result from this confusion. I have had 3 near collisions in the last year at this location.Secondly in the evening this intersection is widely visible from most approaches, therefore drivers frequently quick stop or roll past the flashing red light, this is a minor danger to pedestrians and a cash cow to the Manalapan police dept, that hide in the dark on pinebrook road facing east.
  • Pleasant Valley Road Morganville, NJ 07751, USA - Morganville
It's been a year and still the road is not fixed. The entire road is a disaster. You cannot drive more than 5 feet without hitting potholes. Dangerous due to the curves and lack of lighting at night
  • 44-58 Ryan Rd Englishtown, NJ 07726, USA - Monmouth County
On Ryan Road in Manalapan, the speed limit is an
ungodly 25 mph, with people on your tail, even if
you are going 31 mph. There are houses somewhat
close to the street, however, 30 mph is still a decent
speed limit. When crossing into Marlboro, the speed
limit is raised to 35, which alot of people ignore as well, but there are several houses close to the street along the 35 mph zone.
Manalapan should raise their 25 to 30.

  • Rt 33 West Freehold Township, NJ - Monmouth County
December 1, 2012----While driving on Rt 33 west in the evening, my left front tire hit a pothole, resulting in damage to the sidewall of the tire. That stretch of road, approximately one mile before Rt 33 intersects with Halls Mills/Kosloski Rds is very dark, making it impossible too see and avoid potholes! Now I am hoping to get my tire replaced because it is Sunday, and not too many places are open! Very difficult to believe that one little pothole can be so costly and cause such great inconvenience!
