Lane markings are unclear, no signs ArchivedRiver St Cambridge, MA - Cambridgeport
Drivers are continually swerving into the wrong lanes at this intersection because the lane markings are unclear.
Left lane: Some seem to believe this is a left-turn only lane.
Middle lane: Some do not bump right when cross Memorial Drive and instead veer into the left lane, possibly because of the "left lane" comment above. Other times, people turn left from the middle lane, cutting off people in the left lane who are continuing straight.
Right lane: Designated as a right turn only lane, but this is not clear as many drivers continue straight when in this lane.
There are no signs to help drivers understand which lanes have which rules, nor are there any signs indicating that the road they are approaching is Memorial Drive. This is a junction that many out-of-towners first approach when coming off the Mass Pike and it must be incredibly confusing for them.
The lane markings can be improved and start further back, perhaps toward the middle of the bridge.
Some signs need to be added, again perhaps need the middle or even beginning of the bridge, which will be helpful during times of busy traffic.

Highway Acknowledged98 Woodland Dr Framingham, MA 01701, USA - FraminghamYellow gate there is always open as I'm sure it's convenient for Mass DOT personnel to get off and on at this location (by Woodland Rd) - there is a pump house/fenced in storage area back in this area. HOWEVER, it results in HUNDREDS of cars per day getting off and on the pike via this rest stop to save time and $0.25 on a toll. The additional traffic, mostly unsavory characters, in this residential, kid friendly, neighborhood is legitimately insane. Cars, since they are only cutting through, and they've just been going 80 mph 30 seconds previously, also FLY borderline drag racing down Woodland Rd. All the neighbors talk about it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Need more signage Open255 Washington St Newton, MA 02458, USA - NewtonThere should be a sign indicating which lanes are for left turns, which are for going straight, etc... I constantly see accidents due to cars trying to go straight onto Centre St from the lanes that are for turning onto the mass pike only

Pothole AcknowledgedMassachusetts Turnpike Boston, MA 02134, USA - Allston-BrightonCar damaging pothole on mass pike just before Allston tolls westbound in far left lane. We hit it and I thought we lost the front end. It is right as you go down small hill before tolls. You can't miss it. Many thanks.

Charlesgate pothole AcknowledgedCharlesgate East & Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA 02215, USA - Back Bay
A large pothole has opened up on the Charlesgate overpass above the Turnpike. The pothole is located on the roadway headed towards Storrow Drive from Boylston Street/Fenway. It is on the main deck just before the off-ramp to Comm. Ave.
This shoulder here along Charlesgate should also be cleaned. Glass, chunks of concrete, and a broken palette create hazardous conditions for bikers. Please don't wait until spring to fix these issues!

Signs ArchivedSheridan St Chicopee Mass - ChicopeeTrailer trucks and 4 wheeled vehicles drive unsafely fast from fuller road to WESTOVER civilian businesses. One 35 mph sign is hard to notice on right placed after west bound pike overpass. People I talk to are disgusted about the 18 wheelers especially speeding on Sheridan st. Need more signs to remind it is 35 mph both ways on Sheridan. I have noticed bread 18 wheelers are biggest speeders to and from Bimbo bread warehouse on Sheridan st.

Speeding Red Pickup Daily ArchivedElda Rd Framingham, Massachusetts - FraminghamBetween 5-7am during the work week a man in an older red pickup drives ridiculously fast from the circle off Elda red down past Florita drive. He cuts off other drivers regularly and speeds past kids, cars, pets. Big safety concern in neighborhood full of children. There are many drivers who cut through from Brook St down Woodland very fast down to the Mass Pike truck stop. The speed-reading sign does not deter these drivers.
