I-15 North Bound under the I-80 north bound over pass, Salt Lake City, Utah - Downtown
3 to 4 of the north bound I-15 lanes under the I-80 north bound on ramp have a large area that has compacted down causing very rough travel through the area at highway speeds.

    307 W 200 S Salt Lake City UT 84101, United States - Downtown
It's a deep hole that's wide open - might be missing cover. Small foot could go into it if not paying attention

325-399 Karl Malone Dr Salt Lake City, Utah - Downtown
It's more of a manhole cover that is too deep which feels like a pothole so it needs to be smoothed out and filled in more so the car can go over it more smoothly without risk of damage. Please & thanks
  • Main St. And South Temple Intersection Salt Lake, Utah - Downtown
The traffic light stops automobile and pedestrian traffic much longer than is necessary, which causes frustrated and desperate drivers and pedestrians to disregard the light and do dangerours things. Yesterday evening I stood at the light, which was red to automobiles and pedestrians in all directions for several minutes. No Trax train was in sight. Finally, the Trax train approaching light came on when the Blue line train was still at the Temple square station. As the train approached, pedestrians, desperate to catch that train, ran across the street, while drivers, frustrated at the long wait, flipped u-turns to go east on South Temple, narrowly missing the pedestrians darting across the street. This morning, the same thing happened. Stopping traffic for safety is important, but when the wait is unreasonably, and unnecessarily long, it encourages dangerous behavior and trains people to ignore traffic lights. When automobiles and pedestrians have already been waiting a long time, what is wrong with making the Trax train wait? It stops at red lights at other intersections on Main Street. Why not this one?

I-15 N Salt Lake City, UT, 84104, USA - Downtown
Heading onto northbound I-15 from Eastbound I-80 connector there needs to be a "lane ends merge left"sign. So many people pull into the right connector lane not realizing it ends.
  • 442-498 West University Boulevard Salt Lake City, Utah - Downtown
The don't walk signal on the northwest corner of 500 South and 400 west does not light
  • I15 North - West Temple Exit Ramp Salt Lake City, UT - Downtown
On the exit off i15 onto west temple, the third to last seem before the light is terrible. Its like hitting a curb.

This is more of a suggestion of something I would like to see, and that is to equip strollers with reflective Gear as well as Wear for People that walk their Dogs, Bicyclers, Skaters, etc.
There are so many People that think they can be seen in the dark because of streetlights but as a Driver you don't see them, esp if dressed in black! I've been on both sides of the fence and feel very strongly about this topic. Attached you can find a Picture of what I've been trying to explain to People but unless the State does anything it's pretty hard to get People to pay attention.
This particular awesome reflective strap harness I bought at the Running Company (I-80 & 700E.) It works perfect.
  • Veterans Memorial Highway Salt Lake City, Utah - Downtown
Nearly every day I see I-15 northbound traffic move from the right lane into the merging lane from I-80 eastbound, which then disappears a few hundred yards later, forcing the traffic back to the left. Proper striping would fix this completely. As soon as the entrance lane touches I-15, it needs a double-white stripe, solid on the left and dashed on the right, indicating that only a merge left is permitted.
  • E South Temple & N State St Salt Lake City, UT, 84103, USA - Downtown
This was the pedestrian light for crossing State Street on the northern edge of South Temple (east to west, from the Eagle Gate building towards the Beehive House). There were about 5 seconds left on the countdown, so I hit the button. Normally, this should only cause the little light on the button to turn on. However, this time, the pedestrian light switched from the countdown to the white walking person (misleading to pedestrians who might not have seen the 5 second countdown). After a few seconds, the walking person disappeared and the countdown reappeared as 0.

    1. See my file, look for 1.
On 2000 East between the East Bound off-ramp and the overpass over i-215 there are bushes growing out of the fence onto the sidewalk. it makes it hard to get by and stay on the sidewalk. Please remove these bushes.
    2. See my file, look for 2.
Trees are growing up on the south side of the East bound off-ramp at 2000 East and i-215. I can't see exiting freeway traffic because of the trash trees growing up on the side of the road. Please cut all that down so I have a clear line of sight down the off ramp so I don't get hit walking across the off ramp.

Orpheum Ave & S State St Salt Lake City, UT, 84111, USA - Downtown
The only signage for this crosswalk comprises of those tiny signs that are frankly insufficient. The other State Street crosswalks at least have a standard crosswalk sign on either side, and the one at Exchange Place is the gold standard. Please install better signage here, perhaps an RRFB.
