  • Street Cleaning Acknowledged
    1640 19th St Nw Washington D.C., DC 20009, USA - Dupont Circle
Leaves were never completely cleared this autumn creating a buildup on the street & sidewalk ramp. The leaves have now accumulated trash, are saturated with several inches of water and debris, freeze during temperature drops creating several feet of ice slick, and entirely block the ramp for those with impaired mobility. Drainage into the sewer system is entirely blocked as well.

This brick sidewalk is in need of serious repair. Various utility repairs have taken out bricks. Trees are lifting the brick. I cannot imagine attempting it in a wheelchair. In the dark it is starting to seem unsafe to walk down in low heels. Historic is nice, but safe and accessible is necessary.
  • 1628 O St Nw Washington Dc - Dupont Circle
This street (O St NW between 16th and 17th) has a daycare which will be open tomorrow. Please plow on a priority basis as there are going to be a lot of kids and parents early tomorrow wanting to use the street for drops and pick - up.
  • 1833-1843 S Street Northwest Washington, DC 20009, USA - Dupont Circle
I observed a DC police horse @#$% on the sidewalk this morning. It has not been removed, now 7 hours later.

  • Nw Corner 19th & S Streets Nw Washington, District of Columbia - Dupont Circle
I've reported this issue a couple of times over the last two years on the 311 website, and even though the request has been marked closed each time there's no change in conditions - this drain backs up every time it rains more than a little bit. It blocks the sidewalk, forcing people into the street, and when it rains a lot it blocks a significant portion of the intersection too. The only reason the water doesn't get any higher is because it drains out a manhole in the middle of the crosswalk (next to the red car in the attached picture.) As always, thanks for looking into this... but I'm getting tired of putting in service request after request with no results, so this time I'm putting it in as a "street repair" instead of a "curb and gutter repair".
  • 1900 R Street Northwest Washington, DC 20009, USA - Dupont Circle
Very icy - no snow or ice removAl or salt
  • 1751 U Street Northwest Washington, DC 20009, USA - Dupont Circle
Illegally attached to railing. Needs to be cut off.
  • Bicycles Archived
1800 New Hampshire Avenue Northwest Washington, District of Columbia - Dupont Circle
Bicycles running stop signs at this intersection every day. They do not stop at all or look for cars crossing the four way stop. Someone needs to enforce the laws or one of them is going to end up hit by a car.

snow and ice with ruts, busy intersection....several vehicles got stuck. nearby pedestrians push them free, only for another vehicle to get stuck. traffic bottleneck.
  • 23rd St Nw Washington, DC - Dupont Circle
The southbound traffic on 23rd at this intersection conflicts with southbound 22nd st. bicycle and auto traffic, frequently resulting in dangerous situations as the 23rd street traffic rushes to make the light at P. st.
