Lobby for creation of theme park such as Six Flags or something similar. This is a great location right off the interstate, and a good opportunity for Decatur and Huntsville to both profit.

When will traffic be back to normal in north Decatur? The amount of traffic is just crazy, and with detours all over the place, it's a wonder I can find anything.

Perfect location near I-65 that would service all of North Alabama and those traveling to hunt or fish in Alabama and surrounding states. Would be a travel destination for many.

Northbound between Wilson st and the Hwy 31/Hwy 20 split. For the posted 40 mph speed limit, 99% of the vehicles are going between 40 and 50 mph, and 85% are going between 50 and 60.

Semi trucks speed along here, especially eastbound. Not unusual for one to pass me going about 70 on Hwy 20 between Decatur and I-565.

When on Moulton Street turning south on Hwy 31, your view is blocked by vehicles and signs the station has on the street. I have reported this dangerous situation to the police dept, showed them pictures of this but nothing has been done about it. This is a situation that happens almost every day.

There are holes in the road on Cedar Lake Rd. from Spring Ave. to Wesley Acres Retirement Home.

We live in the Albany Historic District. Behind our residential houses, there is a Chicken Processing Plant called Gemstone. In the summer months, the stench of rotting chicken fills the air in our neighborhood. When it rains, frothy chicken fat, mixed with rain water, oozes down the street. We have had numerous emails with city officials that tell residents that they are doing all they can, but yet the problem still remains after 5+ years. Every year it is the same issues. Surely this has to be a safety hazard to have chicken fat/juice running down the city streets into our residential neighborhood. This is unacceptable.

one of the main roads in Decatur, from the cross street of Central Parkway to the cross street of the Beltline Rd there are numerous of potholes. Its terrible!!

This Road is probably in the poorest condition in Decatur and is one of the most traveled. Car literally try to dodge the holes and grooves in the road and causes some dangerous maneuvers.
