Overgrown Weeds ArchivedJames River Road Vallejo, California - VallejoThere are overgrown weeds in the vacant lot halfway down the block on the right side. We used to be able to walk our dogs through that lot up onto Old Glen Cove Road but cannot any longer because of the weeds. I don’t know who owns the property. The weeds are into the sidewalk now.

Ilegal Parking - Recurring problem AcknowledgedGlen Cove Pkwy & North Regatta Dr. Vallejo, California - VallejoCars parked on North Regatta Drive in No Parking zone around 3 PM Mon thru Friday. Also on weekends, Glen Cove Elementary hosts soccer events, with the school gates closed to parking. Again, people park along North Regatta drive in the no parking zone. Down the road, cars are parked along sidewalk of Glen Cove Parkway in front of the Glen Cove park on weekends in a no parking zone. This is a traffic hazard, and someone could get hurt. Somebody from City of Vallejo address this issue.

Weeds, shrubbery, and/or trees Archived171 Suncliff Pl Vallejo, CA, 94591, USA - Vallejo
The long row of Eucalyptus trees and their debris along the "fire road" behind our house is a serious fire hazard. These invasive trees burn easily and throw flames great distances. The area below these trees is a deep layer of dry debris. It would have been a disaster if last week's fire had moved into this area. Lookout Drive, our only access road would have been cut off and once lit, those trees would act as giant flamethrowers above the rest of Glen Cove. Our Seascape HOA and the overall Glen Cove community is still at risk for a devastating fire situation.
I made this 3-minute video tour to more fully describe the situation:

Homeless Encampment and/or Squatters Archived101-199 Brigantine Rd Vallejo, CA, 94591, USA - VallejoThis is a homeless encampment behind homes on Brigantine Road in Glen Cove. The area is full of dry brush, weeds, and eucalyptus trees - it is a fire waiting to happen, especially with 4th of July around the corner and illegal fireworks. The Vallejo Fire Department has been called and they cannot remove the squatters. Calls have been made by home owners in the area and this is not being taken seriously. Can someone from the City please have Vallejo PD go to the area and remove the individuals before homes go up in flames? Thank you.
