Ne Hidden Cove Rd & Silven Ave Ne Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island

The stretch of Hidden Cove Rd. road from the intersection with Henderson Rd down to the large group of mailboxes near 6336 Hidden Cove Rd is in a state EXTREME deterioration. This has been a problem for several YEARS now and the city has done nothing more than very tiny patches to 2-3 potholes. This minor attempt to fix the issue is NOT working. We have made request after request for the entire road to be repaired properly (re-paved) and nothing is being done. The construction of 3 new houses on this road has just intensified the deterioration over the last year. Please....our cars should not have to endure this terrible road any longer!

When re-paving is done, the asphalt should be extended beyond it's current edge at the mailboxes. This corner is currently (and every single year) a huge issue with pot-holes in the gravel making entry for residents, mail trucks, delivery trucks, and garbage services increasingly difficult this time of year. Please fill these potholes and then properly pave this corner as shown in the attached sketch.

  • 6336 Ne Hidden Cove Road Bainbridge Island, Washington - Bainbridge Island
Deep previously reported potholes remain unrepaired near the west end of NE Hidden Cove Road by the neighborhood mailboxes
  • 10660 Ne Manor Ln Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island

3 bedroom house has been turned into a roommate/tenant situation complete with a collection of undrivable vehicles and unleashed dogs. There's an existing shed on the south side of the house that's been previously rented out as an ADU. They are currently building a second shed next to it with plans to rent that out as an ADU as well. There's no way their septic is equipped to handle 3+2 bedrooms, let alone all the people actually living there any any given time. There's definitely no way that their shed situation is safe or reasonable housing, but I'm unclear if that's actually any kind of formal violation.

The whole situation over there is unfortunate and only getting worse. might be worth a welfare check if nothing else.

The RV belonging to Lucy Gilbert of 10640/10660 Ne Manor Ln is currently parked partially blocking the road. Unclear if the plan is to spend the night (or longer) like that.
  • 10660 Ne Manor Ln Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island

The out buildings continue to be inhabited. There have no water or sewer.

Multiple vehicles that do not operate are parked on the property.

Furniture and trash is spread across the property.

This appears to be the 5th complaint for this property since 2021 and no action has been taken by the City of Bainbridge.

6820-6898 Ne Seabold Rd Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
There is a speed enforcement issue on NE Seabold Rd, leading to Henderson. Commuters avoiding 305, driving through neighborhood and disregarding residential speed limit, thereby posing a safety hazard to walkers on road and small children waiting for bus stop. An increased police presence would help to alleviate problem between hours 7am-9am on weekdays.
  • 10640 Ne Manor Ln Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island

Two adults are back to residing in a shed, a vehicle, and an older model RV on this parcel that has no connected utilities, most significantly no running water or sewage infrastructure.

The law states that recreational vehicles are prohibited as dwelling units in Kitsap County except in approved parks.

Ongoing situation comes with a 100lb+ dog at large who is freely roaming adjacent properties and defecating without prejudice, not unlike its owner.

This is a blatant public health and safety risk as well as a nuisance to adjacent properties.
