  • 1400 Tarpon Woods Boulevard Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake
The new lanes at the bridge are very narrow! When two trucks are on at same time it seems like it is 1/2 inch apart. Also when a bicyclist is on the bridge/roadway and a vehicle, there is zero room/clearance which makes for very dangerous situation.

Traffic signal at east lake road and tarpon woods blvd takes a very long time to change when turning onto east lake road from tarpon woods blvd. Something changed within last month. It use to change within a minute. Now it takes and average of 8 minutes. This is at 4 am when there is hardly any traffic. Can you please look into this issue
  • 3100 County Road 272 Tarpon Springs, Florida - East Lake

Traffic on East Lake Road and Trinity Blvd gets backed up every morning and every evening. The traffic signals at Keystone and Trinity Blvd do not allow enough cars to go through the lights. Road ways are not large enough to handle the amount of cars that use these roads everyday.

There is a lack of options for drivers coming from southern Pasco county. East Lake road needs to be updated and expanded.

  • Sewer Issue Archived
146 Annwood Rd Palm Harbor 34685, United States - East Lake
We reported a problem with the sewer/manhole in front of 146 Annwood Road on 7/21. Two workers came out looked at the manhole, commented “All manholes smell” and left. Is this true? Do all 20,000 manholes in Pinellas County smell? Having experience with Civil Engineering, land development, and drainage, that has not been my experience. This manhole has not smelled like a dead body for the 20 years I have lived in this house. Perhaps this is an environmental issue and I am asking the County to fix the problem in error. During rainy season this sewer often backs up into the Brooker Creek which feeds into Lake Tarpon and Tampa Bay. It would seem the time to fix the issue is now before that happens. The two lazy individuals that made such a ridiculous comment and lacked the interest to take ownership and fix the problem should be held accountable and reminded our tax dollars pay their salaries.

3275–3277 Tampa Rd Oldsmar 34677, United States - East Lake
Sewer line (‘manhole’ cover) is lower than the pavement by about 2 inches. Everyone hits this indentation going westerly on Tampa Rd directly in front of the Shell Station in the outer lane. This has been here like this for years and is unconscionable. I know Pinellas county workers, commissioners, representatives hit this themselves. I am tired of needing front end alignments due to something that can be fixed. Thank you.
  • Backwater Trl & East Lake Rd Palm Harbor, FL, 34685, USA - East Lake

This intersection needs to have the actual travel lanes / roadway marked with DO NOT BLOCK striping and lettering. There are already signs prohibiting this, but nobody obeys them making it extremely dangerous to enter and exit the Brookers Landing neighborhood. There have been two crashes there in the past couple of weeks from this problem.

The photo attached is from the MUTCD showing some options we would like you to consider. This continues to be a long time and recurring complaint from our residents and HOA, so addressing this with some roadway markings may easily reduce the flood of complaints that will probably start to come to the traffic department and sheriffs office since the current signs are not being enforced. A few miles north of us on East Lake road, a similar uncontrolled intersection has prominent roadway markings and lettering for a golf/country club neighborhood.
