There is a large sealand container behind the home that has been left on the property for many years as confirmed by Google Earth images. The building permit for the metal breezeway barn has expired; therefore, the excuse that a building permit is on file and the container is needed for that purpose is no longer valid. The detached garage is a blight building and the building permit application correction list for a single family dwelling has yet to be addressed since June 16, 2015.

The building's roof is collapsing in, roofing shingles are non-existent, windows are boarded up with plywood, the front awning is failing, the building is unsecured, and building materials have been piled up behind the building for six months.

There are also two porta-potties near the new metal barn that has an expired building permit. The porta-potties are for non-occupants to use while tending to their stabled livestock.

I have noticed that the tenants or owners of 24717 Fairview Avenue in unincorporated Hayward (Fairview) has recently covered more than 50% of the front yard with a combination of asphalt and compacted gravel to park construction equipment (gutter machines), a trailer and several vehicles on. There are many buildings constructed in the front yard and along the side yard. There is a carport (blue tarp) that is used to park vehicles under in the front yard. The fence in the front yard and along the setbacks are over the 4 foot height limit. It also appears an overhang was constructed near the rear yard that is over 15 feet tall where another large blue tarp is covering materials that can be seen from Fairview Avenue. This property has had no permits pulled over the years (verified through online permit portal).

This abandoned home has a plywood sign left behind in the front yard along side yard clippings. The front door was never installed and instead is secured with rotting plywood. This property is affecting property values in the area.

Several vehicles continually park in the front yard contributing to blight and degradation of property values in the area. This has been an ongoing problem that is leading to erosion on Fairview Avenue.

The tenants or owners of 24778 Fairview Avenue are using a blue tarp as a property line fencing screen.

Trash dumped in alley way that is located between D Street and Clay Street. Trash includes cardboard boxes, crates, discarded metal and a sink.

The detached garage on this property is falling down. The windows are boarded up, there are holes in the stucco, roofing material is non-existent, and the roof is collapsing more with the passing time. Liens exist on the property, yet the landowner keeps dumping construction debris, hazardous waste and keeps a portable potty maintained for all the guests that come and go from the new metal barn where horses are boarded. This property is contributing to blight and degradation of property values in the area.

This property is riddled with zoning problems that are affecting property values in the area. There are unpermitted buildings (confirmed with County) in the front and side yard setbacks. A blue tarp carport is being used to park under in the front yard and another structure seen from the street clearly exceeds 15' in height complete with a large blue tarp that is being used to shelter whatever is being stored under it. I am reporting this property here for fear the zoning problems with only keep growing.

The fence on the side yard is a blue tarp. This property is notorious for vehicles parked all over the front yard with garbage piled along the side of the home (old paint debris) and piled high in the back of an old pickup truck. The property is not in keeping with other properties in the area. Please send code enforcement asap.
