Cottonade Community

Auto repair shop located at 402 Brunswick street:
Parking all over street some times blocking traffic on entrance of cottonaide community.
Trash piled outside of building, creating fire hazarded .
Building is is rotting and shows signs of collapsing!
Many vehicles have no license plates!
The business is a sore eye at the very gateway to Cottonaide community!

The business owner who lives across the street from this property is parking his commercial dump trucks in this yard nightly. Cottonade is becoming a commercial parking lot with contributions from this guy and two auto repair shops located just off Yadkin Road. We need some help down here to restore some dignity to this old neighborhood. The owner of the trucks (Barry of Sandhills Roofing) lives at 6409 Whitehall. The trucks are parked in the city right of way at 6410 Whitehall.

An Airbnb is being run that allows parties and people to park all over the street. They have a firepit in the backyard as well. This is being run as a hotel in a residential area and should not be allowed to happen.

For the 6th time in the past 8 weeks our recycling was not picked up. We have reported this several times during this time frame and only once was it picked up on a Saturday to make up for the missed cart pick up. The truck drove by our residence twice on one scheduled pick up day and did not pick up. The container sets in the same spot as it has the past several years. Also did not pick up our neighbors across the street and several times in the past 8 weeks several houses throughout Cottonade were missed during the scheduled time.

A city tree feel from the easement behind my house during hurricane Florence. My neighbor's electricity being turned back on is contingent upon its removal. The easement generally has been very poorly maintained; it needs cleaning and tree topping to avoid future issues.

A vehicle and a trailer with NO LICENSE sits at the intersection everyday! It is dangerous to everyone traveling on Greyfield.

If you are at 6322 Cool Shade Drive and attempting to cross or turn onto York Rd. your visibility is greatly hinder by the overgrown trees and bushes at this home and this is every 3 to 4 month issue here at this intercession.

Sandhills roofing truck is parked on the corner, as usual, and blocking a fire hydrant and corner viaibility. This is a reoccurring problem since the owner lives across the street.
