Roadway Flooding/Drainage/Erosion Archived1445-1599 E Center St Spanish Fork, UT, 84660, USA - Spanish ForkFrom the Spanish Fork City Main St/Hwy 6 offramp to (as far as I drive) center street and Highway 6 in Spanish Fork heading south there are several chunks of road missing, but a few days ago this big section of Highway 6 and Center Street kind of sunk in. They are pretty big/deep area's that need to be fixed.

Traffic Signals ArchivedMain St @ 931 S Spanish Fork, UT 84660, USA - Spanish ForkThis intersection needs an east-west pedestrian signal and marked crosswalk so that students (i.e. my younger sister) and others can safely cross to access the northbound UTA bus stop before and after school. The current configuration is a safety hazard because it encourages people—including inexperienced teens—to jaywalk or make an unsignaled crossing to access the bus stop. The only other alternative is walking half a mile along an unpleasant corridor to the next crossing, which is an unreasonable expectation.

Roadway Flooding/Drainage/Erosion ArchivedSr 147 And 700 E Spanish Fork, Utah - Spanish ForkDrainage is insufficient on SR147. This is a problem any time there is rain. This is a safety issue for vehicles and pedestrians. I witnessed a pedestrian walk into the traffic lane to get around the water. I measured the water at 13 inches deep where the sidewalk meets the road.

Traffic Signals ArchivedS Main St & W Volunteer Dr Spanish Fork, UT, 84660, USA - Spanish ForkThe removal of the second turn lane was a terrible idea. The turn light now doesn't seem to be long enough which causes vehicles to run the light, make illegal U-turns in the intersection or cut through the gas station parking lot. Drivers are also using the new straight eastbound lane to make the turn onto main street which causes safety issues as well. It is only going to get worse as time goes on with the sports park traffic and then the completion of the Rec center.
