Is this considered a commercial vehicle? If so, are they allowed to park in residential neighborhoods?

RV is blocking the sidewalk. Why does the City of Chula Vista want a person in a wheelchair forced to go into the street because an RV is blocking the sidewalk? Why does the City of Chula Vista want a mother and their infant child in a stroller forced into the street because a private homeowner parks their personal RV blocking the sidewalk? Please enforce the city ordinance regarding the obstruction of parking in the sidewalks.

Sorry, it forced me to select a description but none of the options describe this issue.

There is a blind curb in a residential area leading to my home. When people park there, there is no way to see oncoming traffic. I have witnessed and personally experienced a lot of close calls.

After turning on to Eastlake Dr from East H Street and making an immediate left on to Lakeshore Dr, I must turn left onto Hartford St and deal with oncoming traffic. This is the only entrance leading to my residence as well as for many other Eastlake residents.

Unfortunately many drivers do not respect the posted signage of a 30 miles per hour speed limit but even when traveling 30 miles per hour drivers cannot see on coming traffic until it is too late.

Another issue that makes the problem worse is having tow trucks, work trucks and work vans parking on that curb ( I added an image from google maps that shows the problem). When small cars park there, residents have a better view but still limited. People primarily park work vehicles that obstruct the visibility of oncoming traffic.

I would like to respectfully request the city review this issue and paint that curb red or place a stop sign.

These vehicles are continuously violating the CVC and CVMC for 72 hours parking on Lakeshore Dr. in Eastlake.

These vehicles are "StreetDocking" flagrantly violating the CVC and CVMC 72 hours.

These vehicles and trailers have continuously violated the traffic laws in the EastLake area. The Traffic Divison of Chula Vista is not being pro-active in citing these vehicles for parking along the street.

I have a traffic concern...South Bay Expressway has the North Bound on ramp closed at E. H St. and all the cars are going to the next light at Mt. Miguel Rd. and doing an illegal u-turn. I worry there is going to be an accident or a fight if this continues. This morning, there was chaos and honking because so many cars were doing an illegal u-turn while the rest of the traffic had a green right hand arrow and were going at a higher speed because they have the right of way right into the u-turners. I am going to report this to the CVPD as well. I have kids learning to drive and this is very dangerous.

Owner of this Rv was arrested by police and RV is left with no one on it. Man was a criminal and we would like the city’s help to remove his belongings from
