Hello, the we are having another issue with the dumpster at the new construction at Slide Ct. The loose overfilled content of the dumpster is not being secured. As a result, discarded house wrap and crew lunch packaging have been carried onto our property by the wind.

This is perhaps becoming a recurring issue. Previously, on 2024-01-11, dirt and debris were left on the roadway after their dumpster pickup.

Land has been clear cut on Rowe Road. Is the City aware of this? Did they get a tree permit?

Reason to believe that since May of 2025, several large trees have been removed behind this property in a "tree save" area, ruining the tree canopy. Homeowner has then been burning the limbs in his backyard.

The new traffic circle is dangerous. While it seemed that a dedicated right turn lane on Birmingham Road (coming from Hwy 372) onto Freemanville Road (going toward Redd Road) was a good idea, the construction of that turn lane is wrong and is not working properly. It is too short and too close to the traffic circle itself. The angle is not correct to be able to look around to see cars already in the circle that would be exiting the circle onto Freemanville Road going toward Redd Road.

The culvert located about halfway down Clarity Road on the west side of the street is blocked (maybe it is just leaves) on the south end and is about halfway filled with silt on the north end. Thank you!

While the overflowing dumpster was picked up today, the work crew on-site failed to clean up dirt and debris left on the roadway. They have since gone home for the evening This is the same issue as it was reported to Sgt. Hickerson at the Milton PD on 2024-01-11.

Large number of trees being removed from backyard

I have found a sinkhole underneath the riprap rock and asphalt under the street. It appears this was not properly compacted during the construction and the drainage has washed away the dirt underneath and supporting the asphalt roadway above.

You can see differential settlement and cracks in the asphalt at 1865 Birmingham Road. In addition you can look up into the hole and see the subgrade under the asphalt has washed out, leaving a VOID.

The water collecting in the sinkhole will washout Birmingham Road as well as undermine my culvert under my driveway entrance. It needs immediate repair! Robert W. Monette, P.E.
