Notified About

  • 67th St & Hollis St Emeryville, CA, 94608, USA - Emeryville
The intersection at 67th St & Hollis St is dangerous. I work at a nearby company, and I have witnessed four accidents at the intersection since last November. Berkeley PD has come by a few of them, so there could be a log of accident reports there. Many of them happen because the intersection has a two-way stop sign. Speeding drivers, who have the right of way, often collide with drivers trying to cross Hollis Street. In addition, drivers going south on Hollis St. occasionally go too fast when they turn right onto 67th St. (Again, I've seen Berkeley PD pull over a few drivers at this intersection - there could be a log of reports.) Many workers are walking around that area and are loading trucks right around the corner, and it concerns me when drivers plow through that intersection. My hope is that we can get a 4-way stop sign there to reduce the auto accidents and the chance of a ped vs. auto accident. At the very least, we could at least get a "Yield to Pedestrian" sign like they have on 66th St/Hollis St.
  • 3823 San Pablo Avenue Emeryville, California - Emeryville
At least 10 shopping carts and lumber carts, full of garbage, blocking lanes behind Home Depot. It’s been like this for weeks. People and animals wandering in the off ramp lane. I’m sure the businesses along 40th st would be happy to get their stolen property back. (hey SeeClickFix, can we get an HOMELESS ENCAMPMENT category here?)
  • West Macarthur Boulevard Emeryville, California - Emeryville
Homeless encampment behind Nordstrom Rack is spilling out into the road, blocking one lane of traffic and creating a safety hazard. Campers have shopping carts, mattresses, furniture, trash and household items partially obstructing the right hand lane.
  • W Macarthur Blvd Emeryville, CA 94608, USA - Emeryville
Piles of furniture, food waste, broken pallets, and other debris associated with homeless encampment. Piles are getting larger as campers build semi-permanent structures and block off the public roads.

Trains are making excessive horn noises at multiple hours through the night and it’s disrupting our sleep.
  • 1060 41st St Emeryville, CA, 94608, USA - Emeryville
As a parent of a student who attends the East Bay German International School, I wonder how the new street design is improving the safety of our kids and parents who need to bring their kids to the school entrance. As it can be seen drivers as well as passengers who are sitting behind the driver in case of carpooling would need to open their doors into the narrow street which requires cars that would be driving by to stop to avoid collisions. Furthermore, the limited space for drop-off or parking next to the stopping traffic due to passengers opening their doors into the street is causing a significant traffic backlog that blocks Adeline Street in both directions.
  • W Macarthur Blvd Emeryville, CA 94608, USA - Emeryville
Homeless encampment has spread back out into traffic lanes. Large inventory carts stolen from retailers, shopping carts, bicycles and trash bins in the right-hand lane of traffic as you turn onto W. MacArthur to access the freeway. Numerous pedestrians walking into traffic. Extremely unsafe situation.
  • Other Issue/Concern Acknowledged

Cars travel at excessive speed at intersections of greenway and 65th, 66th and 67th streets. Many bicyclists and pedestrians have almost been hit. Pale yellow signs do not work. Need something more to slow down drivers.
  • W Macarthur Blvd & Emery St Emeryville, CA, 94608, USA - Emeryville
Tons of Debris, tarps, wooden pallets, trash, litter, carts, paper, garbage, spilling into the street over the curb and on the side of the road. On the median and across up the freeway embankment. Traffic hazard. On W. MacArthru Blvd extending in between Emery St. and Hollis St.

Fire hazard! Homeless campers building shanties out of lumber and pallets. Blocking street with carts, trash, and debris. Riding bicycles and walking on traffic lanes.
  • 1325 Hollis St Emeryville, CA 94608, USA - Emeryville

  • Street Light Acknowledged
5845 Doyle St Emeryville 94608, United States - Emeryville

    Request for more street lights.

The stretch of Doyle St between Powell and 59ty St is very poorly lit. The few street lights that exist here are very far apart and obstructed by tree growth. This location is a high target for car break-ins as a result, as pointed out by EPD.
