Paso Robles a Water Wise Community

Several of the sprinklers in the Golden Hill/Creston landscaping are in need of maintenance. There are two large areas of significant water runoff/erosion from errantly firing sprinkler heads. The mud on the sidewalk is very slippery and several kids walk this way to school. (I witnessed one child fall a few months ago...this has been a worsening problem for several months).

May be a water leak

The soil is very saturated and I’ve thought maybe it was our drip to our landscaping, but I’ve thoroughly checked it and adjusted timers and more water is still standing. I checked our meter and it is not running so I believe there is a leak in the city line. The water mark in the soil is growing everyday.

I noticed water on Vine St between 8th and 9th Sts in the southbound lane for the past three days. I think there might be a leak under the road.

I had sewage back up into all 3 of my bathrooms on 8/6 and again on 8/7. The second time here, the plumbers scoped the line and informed me that the city tree at the end of my driveway has rooted through the main sewer line where it attaches to my main line. They said it needs to be replaced. The sidewalk is starting to buckle where the tree is located which also which poses a trip hazzard. I have made 3 phone calls the public works department. I hope I can hear from somebody soon.

Turtle Creek water flow is slowed by storm debris and could lead to street flooding with the approaching storm.

The backflow pipe has been leaking at this location for a couple of weeks and im not sure if anyone is officially aware of it. I'm not sure if this is private property or public.

Second time submitting this. Chronic, ongoing water waste. This water is actively running - there is movement in the water. This has been going on for months with no action, plants are dying. Please help.

On Creston Rd.(east side) from Grand Canyon to Golden Hill Rd. there is a hill which is covered in Rosemary. This is maintained by a maintenance crew. This area is watered twice a week. The last two months water has been running south on Creston Rd. There appears to be a large leak in the system.
