Mill River Trail PLUS

We know the trail is beautiful and we understand the convenient access to the Mill River is a big draw but we cant help but feel that this is not the best place to set up a bedroom.

Storm grate is cocked in the street, as if someone tried to remove it. This is a safety hazard for vehicles and pedestrians.

A truck load of tires, old furniture, garbage bags on the curb and in the street.

Another load of old cut up truck tires dumped on the curb, some plastic bags of trash left on the curb, and a lot of branches left in the street by the lawn service contracted by the city last week.

Week long dumping events. There are now 3-4 piles of junk on the curb, mattresses, 6' sofa in the street, and loose trash. The grass is 3' tall now so there is most likely more junk hidden. The city usually cuts the grass here but hasn't yet. The area has to be checked before mowing or the blades will be wrecked.

5' tall stack of tree branches and limbs have been on the curb for 2 months now, someone will set it on fire at some point if not removed.

5-6 black trash bags dumped on the curb for 2 weeks now.

Since this street has been a dump zone since opened back in 1988 wouldn't it be prudent to have inspections once in a while?

Who is going to monitor this problem once we leave the area?

Huge amount of concrete waste dumped overnight on the curb and in the street. You will need a payloader to pick it up.
