Notified About

  • 130 Felt Rd CT 06074 - South Windsor
This project is supposed to take until November to finish. Crews have been absent and working at snails pace. Wonder if they are spilling fuel from their heavy equipment into the pond and creek. Stretching this project out for 6 months for what appears to be a 4 week at the most project.

Ellington Road between Clark Street and Pierce Road needs to be widened by fixing cracked surface and extending surface so that at least 4 feet of shoulder is in place. The Captain John Bissell Greenway needs attention due to winter and spring storms. Several trees are hanging over fencing, and creating a hazard on the bike path.

Dirt, rock and debris need to be cleared. Large metal objects have been lodged in fencing.

Parking lot in Windsor also needs to be cleaned.

The Bissell Bike Path, which connects South Windsor and Windsor is a major connector for cyclists as well as pedestrians. Some of the signs have also been vandalized with graffiti, as well as walls and some of the path. These should be cleaned, replaced, and/or painted over.

  • 376 John Fitch Blvd South Windsor, CT 06074, USA - South Windsor
The issue is rough potholes and missing asphalt at the very NE corner of Chapel Rd. and State Route 5. Its a hazard to bikers and walkers. Even auto traffic must make a wide turn to avoid. I reported this problem over a year ago to SeeClickFix. At that time the issue was supposedly resolved. What really happened was that a thin patch was applied and since then has become worse.
  • 1046 Sullivan Ave CT 06074 - South Windsor
The traffic light at the Ayers Road/Sullivan Ave. displays very short green lights to traffic on Ayers Road, especially in the morning, when people are commuting. Could the state readjust to give Ayers Road a longer green?

Two "No Dumping" signs on the south side of Chapel Road are obscured by foliage and can't be seen well. Dumping of yard waste and trash still continues in this wooded area.
