Central Gardens Watch Area

Our block of Vinton sees a lot of traffic and many drivers appear to be well in excess of the 20mph speed limit. We also have several families on the block and lots of young children. Speed humps would help enforce the speed limit and keep our children safe.

There are major potholes throughout our whole alley which is causing damage to our vehicles. It is the only way to get to our garage. We are very sad that we moved here and bought a beautiful home and our alley is getting very close to the point where we cannot drive down anymore for fear that we will cause severe damage to our vehicles. City garbage truck has made huge amount of damage so in addition to the potholes we also have this damage created by the city truck. The ultimate fix would be paving this alley so it doesn't constantly have to be filled with gravel.

Rosecrest manager converted an Accessible parking space to their own private space. ADA violation against tenants with legal accessibility problems.

All 3 of the elevators are broken in this 10 story apartment building, leaving multiple disabled residents trapped and unable to leave their homes. Management refuses to repair the elevators and has refused to properly do so since 2017.

Alley is currently being used by Garbage Trucks and is destroying the sidewalk and creating huge potholes. As an entryway to Central Gardens it is both an eye sore (doesn't reflect our neighborhood's charm and upkeep) and is a danger to city/public vehicles and pedestrians.

Our residential street of Vinton in between Bellevue and Cleveland has hundreds of cars daily and there are several small children that live here. High speed travel back and forth especially when school is in session.

Pile of nastiness behind 1354 Harbert has been there well over a year. Attracting vermin.

I requested this a year ago and it shows archived now. Please work on this. Ever since the speed bumps were successfully put on Willett, people now use Melrose to speed. Some exist already near Peabody Ave on Melrose St. Please add one set on Melrose between Goodbar Ave and Rosemary Ln.

Both Managers in morning shift at Kroger is not requiring customers, staff or vendors to wear masks. Majority of store filled with people shopping without masks on. Manager telling cashier to stop telling customers to put on a mask. Cashier stated that health department had already gave them a final warning and they were going Be fine next. Both Managers stated that it’s Kroger problem and not theirs because it’s not coming out of their pockets.
