    Southbound on Connecticut Ave on the traffic signal the left turn arrow for the turn onto Plyers Mill lasts 10-12 seconds, just long enough for 3 cars to get through. Usually there are many more than 3 cars waiting, and the traffic spills out of the left turn lane and blocks one of the main travel lanes, causing holdups back into both Connecticut and University.

    We have had a gas leak in our front yard ever since last July. Here's the drill: we call, they send an emergency crew out who says they can't fix it. Since September 2011, there has been a 10 x 6 foot hole in our yard and Wash. Gas says they are going to replace the Main. However, we can't get them to tell us when or to begin the work. Help!!!

    Cars regularly line up to make either a left or U turn going south on Connecticut Ave at Plyers Mill Road. Cars also approach Connecticut Ave from the east on Plyers Mill, attempting to turn right onto Connecticut Ave. These 2 traffic streams conflict and pedestrians can also be crossing at that intersection. It is very dangerous. U turns should not be allowed at this light and signage should direct traffic from Southbound Connecticut Ave to turn left in front of Kaiser on either Perry or Denfeld.
