Notified About

  • 210 E Elm St Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
Northside neighborhoods, constant yelling, profanity, vulgarity... continuously making the streets dangerous for drivers and other pedestrians by walking in the streets, and refusing to move for traffic. Loitering, drug dealing, all openly as most of the police force looks on, and does nothing.
  • 1169-1265 Lenox Ave Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
This stretch of Lenox needs to have the speed limit lowered to 45 mph before serious accidents happen!
  • 220 Sherman St Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
There is a lot of traffic at the house near the corner of Lake St. and Sherman St. Is there any way to make parking legal on only one side of the street?
  • 520 Sayles St Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida

A combination of a steep road, of a daycare center, of intersections with poor line-of-sight, of commercial trucks and through traffic taking shortcuts, and of excess speed makes this road an inherent hazard.

The solution is what other communities do with similar traffic problem. Add all-way stops to every Sayles Street intersection.

  • 226 Loucks St Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
Almost every day and sometimes late into the knight young teens and some older young adults hang out in the road here. They block access to driveways and cars have to stop and wait for the kids to get their skateboard rails and ramps out of the road. This is a safety hazard not to mention the annoyance factor of having to wait to enter your driveway or hearing their constant rattle as skateboards hit the street. Isn't there a skate board park these kids can hang out at instead of the middle of the street?
  • 431-465 New York 46 Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
Former junior high school could easily fit 6-8 single residences, generating $35k- to over $50k in annual tax revenue. This lot has been an eyesore for a couple generations; is there no one who has the will to fix?
  • Corner Of Broad St. And Stone St. - Oneida
this is an awful intersection for anyone attempting to enter or cross broad st. due to the many cars parked on all sides of the streets (library, doctor's and dentist's offices, and physical therapy building among others are all on the same block of broad st.) there are stop signs for both sides of stone st. but maybe need a four way instead. whenever i pull onto broad, i pray not to be cutting someone off, as i am never sure what's oncoming. the rest of the time i avoid it completely, but feel i shouldn't have to, i see the same thing happen to others all the time.
  • Wilson-Walnut Sts. - Oneida
cars entering Walnut St from wilson St. should have the stop sign. Approaching the light on Prospect st., it's diffacult to see if there's traffic
coming from Wilson because of the angle and bushes and trees.Move the sign to Wilson.
  • 1652-1770 New York 46 Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida

This is a very busy corner, especially with the N. Lake St. bridge under construction and there needs to be a fully functional traffic light here. It took me 10 minutes to pull out today.

The blinking yellow lights are NOT enough. I have witnessed too many accidents involving this intersection, many fatal, that could have been avoided had a proper light been installed.

1456 Glenwood Ave Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
Once again the grounds at Glenwood Cemetery are in terrible condition. There is a pile of trash piled by the garage, roads are in terrible shape, fallen sticks and limbs every where. When the Superintendent and his wife were there it was taken care of the way it should be. If I could afford it I would move my family to a cemetery that was taken care of.
  • 560 Seneca St Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
The parking lot near the tennis courts of OHS is in terrible condition. There are potholes that have been there for several years and are getting progressively worse. They are a danger for students walking or bicycling across them and a potential source of damage for the cars that drive across that area. When will this be fixed?
  • 140-146 Madison St Oneida, NY 13421, USA - Oneida
WHEN is the Oneida PD going to step up to the plate and do something about the miscreants that frequent the Main Street, Madison Street, Oneida Street vicinity? As a business owner in the downtown area, I am apalled at the lack of patrol coverage in this area. The open use of drugs and alcohol in the downtown area is a shame to all the people of this city. Come on guys, they're right in your front yard!
