  • 26314 Washington Blvd Ne Kingston, WA 98346, USA - Kingston
Road construction on WA Blvd. An excavator was left in the middle of the road and creates a narrow passage. The blade of the excavator is dark and sticks out. Our tire was slashed. No safety or large truck will be able to pass by tonight so if an emergency occurs the vehicles will have unnecessary delay. Hoping to get one of the vehicles moved so the road isn't so narrow.

All along Barber Cut Off Road, Kingston, there are empty alcohol containers/garbage thrown on the side. I am concerned as elementary kids walk this road to school, and shouldn't be exposed to alcohol products. There is a lot, spanning the entire road. Can a crew be sent to pick this stuff up?

I’m not sure who’s property these ivy covered trees are on. There have been multiple big branches that have fallen recently. You can see some of the aftermath on the ground. Many people walk/ride to and from the ferry along here. The house address is
10550 NE West Kingston Rd. Next to it is the Kingston Fitness Center.
Would appreciate these being taken down before a branch or worse falls on someone.
  • 10558-10598 Ne West Kingston Rd Kingston, WA, 98346, USA - Kingston
Tree is down, partially obscuring shoulder of roadway, and making ADA access of sidewalk difficult. This is a result of an automobile accident involving a 2008-2009 Ford Taurus X, Eddie Bauer Edition, SEL, silver in color. ID'd through online check of wreckage left at scene.
  • Barber Cut Off Rd Ne & Sows Ear Ln Ne Kingston, WA, 98346, USA - Kingston
The only way to get from the shoulder to the sidewalk here is to jay walk, which students and workers do all the time. There should be a crosswalk here and Barber cut-off should have a sidewalk on the south side of the road all the way from Richard Gordon to West Kingston Rd.

In the last few days, once again a vehicle driven by an impaired driver plowed through the fence of this property, landing quite a distance onto the property. This particular location has seen numerous crashes through the years. It has been an issue for over the 42 years I have lived here. There used to be blackberry brambles at this location, driving by we would see cars embedded into these bushes. This has been known to the County for years, and really nothing has been done to solve this issue. These drivers do not give a rip about speed signs, slow down signs, or lighting. They are impaired, coming out of Jefferson Beach at a high rate of speed and running off the road. The residents of this property have just about had it with nothing being done. Does the County even consider that there is a propane tank on these premises on the side where this newest incident occurred. The occupants can hardly sleep at night hearing these cars come screaming around this corner. Is this another example of we have to wait until someone is killed, the house going up in flames! Has the County even considered the possibility of placing a berm on this corner like they did on Cliffside where the road going downhill has a sharp right turn. Drivers operating vehicles were constantly going off the road. The County needs to step up and fix this problem. We can't even walk on this road anymore, fearing for our lives, folks are scared in the middle of the night they will be next with a vehicle ramming into their residence. We used to have Kitsap County Sheriff vehicles patrolling the road, and sitting around making us safe. No more! The County needs to take care of this serious issue now, not put it on the back burner, like it has been done for the last 42 years since I have lived here.

The storm drain culvert on county property is causing the hillside on the corner of my property to slip. The result is a fence (installed by a prior owner) is now about to fall. The only thing preventing the fence and hillside from giving way is a wooden support post. I’d like to be able to build a retaining wall that would hold back the hill, however I have no confidence in the toe of the hill/culvert, as it is constantly giving way. If the County could install a tight-line then back-fill, the toe would be strengthened. Once that was completed a retaining wall would complete the solution to this situation.
