Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation District

Notified About

  • 2046 Cameron Street Raleigh North Carolina - Hillsborough
City Council approved (twice) bike lanes and a turn lane on Cameron Street, and it's been months without road markings. Temporary roadway markings were painted, but they've washed away. It's completely unsafe for pedestrians and people on bikes without these protected road markings.
  • 2-6 Enterprise St Raleigh, NC 27607, USA - Wade
An employee of Gonza Tacos Y Tequila dumped used cooking oil and grease out of a 55 gallon trashcan down a storm drain on Enterprise Street Sunday night during closing. I presume this is not the first time this has happened and won't be the last. Oil residue can be see staining the road in the photo.
  • 1101 Hillsborough St Raleigh, North Carolina - Hillsborough
I would like to ask that the City Council instruct the Police Department to enforce our noise ordinances in the downtown residential areas, in particular as it relates to muscle cars, motorcycles, and scooters. I have lived downtown on Hillsborough Street for over two years and the noise has gotten worse and worse, at all hours of both day and night. I have witnessed excessively loud vehicles pass by police as if nothing is wrong. Noise pollution is deteriorating our City and will drive good families and individuals away from downtown. Raleigh should be the showcase of our great state, warm and welcoming, not a nuisance town, loud and dividing.
  • 117 W Park Dr Raleigh, NC 27605, USA - Hillsborough
  • 2 Pullen Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
Two people on these city owned scooters just shot off the sidewalk into the street and through the traffic circle causing 2 vehicles to slam on brakes. No helmets, no regard for anyone else. They went right down the street like nothing happened. Someone is going to be killed on these.
  • 203 Woodburn Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Hillsborough
A very tall pine tree is leaning almost over the fence into the power lines at the corner of Benehan and Woodburn. With the approaching storm the tree should at least be topped off before it is uprooted from saturated soil and does serious damage.
  • 401 Stafford Avenue Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
The awful smelling metal containers of waste from Tupelo Honey are leaking and the rain is taking this 'trash juice' to the storm drain.
  • Hillsborough St & Enterprise St Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
Seriously? It's a weekday at 8am and a City of Raleigh lawnmower is driving down one of the busiest streets in the city, backing up traffic?
  • 2316 Hillsborough Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
Delivery box trucks parking in middle of Hillsborough St obstructing the line of sight, median signs and pedestrians. There is an ICEE truck parked there up over the brick median now as they are delivering to Taco Bell at rush hour lunchtime. Buses can barely get by.
  • 3201 Clark Avenue Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
This intersection needs a four-way stop sign because it is unsafe for humans not in cars (pedestrians and bicyclists). Cars speed around this corner and come close to hitting people all the time. Plus, this is near a church, a school, and a Boy Scouts meeting place, as well as a quiet residential place where people are often walking around. A four-way stop sign would force cars to slow down and recognize that they are putting people's lives, especially children who play and live around here, when they fly by.
  • 2503 Clark Avenue Raleigh, NC - Wade
There are three BIRD scooters parked laterally across the sidewalk, completely blocking it. This is directly in front of the Methodist Church and Preschool. This is ridiculous.
  • 2416 Hillsborough Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
So this yahoo came right through our crowd yelling at us to get out of his way. You can't hear the scooters coming. They should not be riding motorized vehicles on a sidewalk!
