NW 20th street is being used as shortcut by commuters, speeding through while children, our handicapped neighbors, and the elderly residents of the Home at the corner of Powerline and NW20st trying to get to the bus stop across the street,.
The neighbor at the corner of NW11th ave and NW20St has had his car totaled (twice) by an out of control speeder.
We hope the city and DOT do something before somebody gets killed. Speed humps would be a great improvement for the safety.

    That empty lot has remained an eye sore for this neighborhood. People driving by throwing garbage out the window.
    A few "contractors" and landscapers have dumped their garbage on several occasions..
    Swale is covered with garbage, illegal dumping is constant.
    The grass is always high. When a landscaper came to mow, he mowed everything including plastic, stirofoam and made it even worse.
    A newly opened day Care/school is next to it.
    Is it a good example the City wants to give?
    This is unacceptable and has been going on for years. Hillmont middle River Vista (Hillmont height) the forgotten neighborhood.

    Cars park on the road right in the curve. Oil change being performed right on the roadway. oil all over the road in front of property. trash and metal pieces on the lawn. blue tarp flying around on roof. this has been going on for quite some time now.

    some landscaper dumped 2 pieces of concrete from fence post right on the road. left a beat up trash can also. this is very dangerous on that section of road where people go too fast. this section needs SPEED BUMPS or speed trap.

    THAT LOT IS STILL BEING USED ALL DAY AND NIGHT FOR DRUGS, SEX (OF COURSE USED CONDOMS ARE LEFT FOR OUR ENJOYMENT), GARBAGE, TAMPONS, PLASTIC, FECES, BOTTLES...CAN'T THE OWNER PUT A FENCE AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM FOR THE COMMUNITY ONCE AND FOR ALL.
    AND THE AMOUNT OF GARBAGE FLOATING ON THE CANAL IS DISGUSTING.
